My boyfriend and I recently had the incredible pleasure of dining at Condesa, and let me tell you, it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff welcomed us with genuine smiles that made us feel right at home.

As it was our first visit, we were eager to explore the menu, which was brimming with authentic Mexican dishes. The ambiance was vibrant, adorned with colorful decorations that perfectly set the stage for our culinary adventure. It felt like we were transported straight to Mexico, and we couldn't wait to dig in.

Now, onto the food! Everything we tried was incredibly fresh and served burning hot just the way we love it. We started with the complimentary chips which were absolutely delicious when paired with the flavorful salsa. Each bite of the salsa was a delightful combination of fresh tomatoes, onions, and cilantro, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice.

For our main courses, we decided to share the birria tacos and fajitas along with some guacamole The birria tacos were rich and savory, filled with tender meat that practically melted in our mouths. The fajitas arrived sizzling, bursting with vibrant colors and enticing aromas. The steak was unbelievably tender, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. Each bite melted in our mouths, and the seasoning was spot on—bold yet not overpowering. The guacamole was fresh and creamy, a perfect complement to our dishes.

What truly stood out was the authenticity of the food. It was clear that the chefs take immense pride in their craft, creating dishes that celebrate traditional Mexican flavors. We could taste the love and care that went into every plate, and it made the meal all the more special.

Throughout our dining experience, the staff continued to impress us with their attentiveness and enthusiasm. Best Mexican Restaurant in Rhode Island at this current moment. Change my mind?!?! I love Mexican. California, born and raised. Breath Mexican Food. This is the best most authentic around right now. Great job Condesa. I didn't know about you and I am so glad I do now. We will see you often. My plate was delish. The Queso Fresco Enchiladas topped with skirt steak that was marinated perfectly was amazing! My beautiful wife's plate was also amazing. She got the Carne Asada and her words exactly after her first 3 bites was "this is the best thing I've eaten out in a long time". That's all I need to hear to know I'm coming back. Their take on refried with black beans rather than refried is superb. The rice decedent and fine. It's a masterpiece. We just wanted a quick bite so we didn't over indulge this time.....but we coming back. We love you Condesa. If I had any constructive criticism it would be it was tad too cold in there today. Some guests had their coats on. Not a great look in one of the more beautifully designed restaurants around. Check the pics. Stunning. This is a 5 star restaurant through and through. Update to my 5 star review! So disappointed. Went last month and loved it (see below). Went with my boyfriend last night and it was so different. Sat at the bar and the bartender seemed really nice. My boyfriend was looking to order one of the many, many options of tequila they offer. Not being an expert in tequila, he asked the bartender for some guidance as to what he might try. Bartender immediately jumped to the $50 and $60 per glass selections! There were plenty of options between $10 and $20 to suggest. I get that it's their specialty but c'mon. He definitely read us wrong and it was a bad attempt to get us to upgrade. That's a $30-$50 jump! We felt uncomfortable after that and left a bad taste... boyfriend ordered a beer, I finished my drink, and we left for somewhere else. Won't be going back
