Rhode Island Design Center – Candice Made It a 10/10 Experience

I’ll be real shopping for furniture isn’t usually high on my list of fun things to do. But walking into the Rhode Island Design Center with my partner turned out to be one of the best retail experiences I’ve had, and that’s all thanks to Candice.

From the moment we walked in, Candice was a total rockstar. She greeted us with warmth, knew the layout of the store like the back of her hand, and had this incredible ability to understand exactly what we were looking for even when we weren’t totally sure ourselves.

She wasn’t just selling furniture she was curating a vibe. Her suggestions were spot-on, her knowledge of design was impressive, and she made the whole process feel effortless. No pressure, no upselling just honest, thoughtful guidance that made us feel like we were in great hands.

We ended up finding pieces that fit our space perfectly, and honestly, I wouldn’t have picked half of them without Candice’s input. She’s got an eye for style and a knack for making people feel comfortable and confident in their choices.

My boyfriend and I were shopping for our first couch. We had seen this one online that we loved and were so excited to go see it in person. When we got to the store Zach Goyette greeted us immediately and said he would come find us in a few minutes. I really appreciated this because it gave us time to look around without feeling like someone was hovering over us. After a few minutes Zach came over and asked if we had any questions. At this point we were ready to make our purchase! Zach was immensely helpful with securing a delivery date and said he would make sure the process went smoothly. I was looking around for couches to go in my first home. I have somewhat unique tastes, or at the very least I don't like the common couches. Four stores and five hours later, I came here... Felt a little overwhelmed with another 3 floors of options that I figured I wouldn't like. I arrived at the 3rd and final floor and was greeted by James Dyer. Told him about my day, my frustrations, and what I was seeking. He helped me find the perfect set, explained the delivery process and protection plan, and set me up. All of my couches got delivered 2 days later and I love them. James texted me the following day to make sure I received everything and that I was satisfied with me purchase.
