My recent dining experience at Laurea in Princeton was a pleasant one. The restaurant's ambiance is refined and contemporary, making it a suitable choice for a casual dinner or special occasion. The warm lighting and tasteful decor contribute to a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. For my meal, I decided to try a combination of dishes. The spinach ravioli was a pleasant surprise. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the filling had a well-balanced mixture of spinach and cheese. It was a simple yet satisfying choice. The white sauce chicken pizza was an interesting take on a classic favorite. The combination of creamy white sauce and tender chicken made for a rich and indulgent flavor profile. The crust was adequately crispy, and the toppings were generous. However, the overall taste may be on the heavy side for some diners. Moving on to the appetizers, the crab cakes were enjoyable. They had a nice texture and were clearly made with fresh crabmeat. While they were good, I did feel they could have used a touch more seasoning to elevate the flavor. One aspect that truly stood out was the service. The staff at Laurea were attentive and courteous throughout the meal. They provided helpful recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. In summary, Laurea in Princeton offers a comfortable and tastefully designed setting. The food is generally satisfying, with some dishes like the spinach ravioli shining more than others. While it may not be a destination for gourmet dining, it's a solid choice for a decent meal with friendly service in Princeton. The drinks were fab !

First just want to say our waitress was very nice tonight for Valentine’s Day. No complaints about her whatsoever. My main issue is what we were there for…the valentines buffet. That buffet was mediocre at best. I know our reservation was for 9pm but they had no oysters…which was on the menu and we were never told that there weren’t anymore. Eggplant in the antipasti was so hard and bland. The cheese and meats were okay, not spectacular. The hot foods…felt like eating something that was in a hot case at 7-11 or Wawa. Again, I know our reservation was at 9PM, but the food was so dry, especially the salmon. The pastas tasted so bland and were so dried up. The mashed potatoes literally only tasted like black pepper. Just honestly so disappointing. The pizza was meh. The dough was not good and the flavor of the pizza was just not good. The prime rib was actually fine. I think I’m just upset that this buffet cost me more per person than nice Vegas buffets I’ve been to. Their marketing team is really killing it because a lot of reviews were great, but they kept coming up on my social media after I looked them up once and I was convinced I wouldn’t be eating college dorm room food. Just so disappointed. Also, the pianist left right at 9PM. If you’re promoting a valentines dinner and have live music, shouldn’t they be there for the whole dinner? Again, we are paying a pretty penny for dinner.

Laurea is a hotel attached restaurant by standard. However, the quality far exceeds most standard in hotel restaurants. The food and ambiance could rival a standalone restaurant. Furthermore, the staff here is without question some of the friendliest I've come across. Our server, Erin, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well fed. She was honest about her preferences and we followed them to an absolutely delightful breakfast. She came by frequently to ensure we were always able to request anything needed. We were here for two days and had her as our server both times, and both times we reviewed excellent service. The food is extremely tasty, and has great presentation. The croissants are made in house and it shows. Flaky and light, a slight smear of butter and jam leaves you feeling like you are sitting in a Parisienne Cafe. The eggs fluffy and seasoned perfectly. And finally, don't underestimate the pancakes, they are springy and light in flavor. All in all, I would definitely return to eat again and look forward to it. Thank you again, Erin, for a great service. We'll see you next time.
