I hate wasting time and money and I just wasted both, I spent over $50 on the worst Popeyes chicken dinner ever. I placed my order for the 16 piece family meal at the drive through, the very young man taking my order acted like it was his very first day on the job. I explained to him that my family only eat dark meat and was willing to wait, he attempted to tell me basically I had to take what they gave me, I told him that I would take what you gave me if and only if it was free, that if Iām paying for it, I want what Iām paying for, now let me speak to the manager.
The manager then comes on and says that she heard what was said and it wouldnāt be a problem, I drive forward, pays and was asked to drive around to the front of the store, they will bring out my order when it was ready.
I wait an additional 20 minutes, I had already waited 20-25 minutes before placing my order, they bring out my order I always check my order before I leave because they have messed it up numerous times, and instead of the Red Beans & Rice I have mashed potatoes, the lobby is closed so I walked around to the drive through window explained the situation, waited another 10 minuteās standing on the side of the drive through window it get the red beans & rice and go home.
Once home, I noticed that they didnāt include any biscuits, the rice was hard and crunchy, the fries were cold in one big lump in a greasy brown paper bag (what kind of *%#ā¬) is that!
Iāve been attempting to call them since but have been getting a recording that they are unable to take my call...

Witnessed 3 young males walk through the back door, no uniforms, no bags, in civilian clothes, one individual wearing flip flops (again no bags for uniform). Very unusual activity. However, thought nothing of it until I asked the manager a simple question of why there was no Diet Coke. ( I thought if it a matter of needing time to change out the seltzer for the Diet Coke syrup I would offer to wait in the front). Instead of a simple explanation, the manager proceeded to be argumentative, interrogative, physically shaky, verbally aggressive, and asked me if I was corporate investigator. WOW. The manager was paranoid. He definitely was talking hyper fast; like he was trying to hide something and trying his best to intimidate me. So when I asked for the managerās name, he refused to give his name, because he said he was a franchise owner. When I asked for his name , the nameless manager pretended or did call the police department. Went there for lunch Thursday July 24th around noon; Of course it's lunch time so I expect delays plus it looked like they may have been down a person. Why did I wait 30 mins and still never got my order of one wrap and a biscuit! at 12:30 I finally asked for my money back as half my lunch period was wasted and the manager never even once acknowledged that I was waiting long, when he handed me my money he couldn't even look me in the eye just handed me my money with his head down and mumbled what I would think was an apology but can't even say for sure because he was mumbling like a little kid. What kind of place is this, or better yet what kind of manager is he, I was polite and patient I never once made a fuss about how long they were taking. I came with 4 other co-workers who of course by now were half way done with their lunch sitting in the dining area. Do you think the bum even came over afterwords to say anything? of course not worse customer relations I've ever experienced I will make sure nobody from my job of 150 employees that's only 3 mins away never go...
