I have time today.
Called and inquired about laminations for COVID cards. The young lady who answered the first time was nice but unsure of pricing for lamination in terms of free or charge. Once she informed me there was a charge from $1.00-$4.00 then I needed clarification...Was placed on hold for another 4-5 minutes to which a gentleman comes on and I re-explain myself and he was supposed to transfer me to the appropriate person to assist further (ie copying department); however, the call disconnected conveniently...or in their case mistakenly I suppose as they were trying to transfer.... Anyways I call back once again and waiting for someone to answer for a few more minutes. At this point, the manager answers ironically who is slightly rude in her tone but I roll with it. At least she answered my questions and explained what lamination is $1.00 versus $3 and some change. If this was a quality assurance call/review this woud be a fail for the folowing: Long wait time No check-in after a minute Uninformed about products, services, and fees. Even the manager had to go look and took a few seconds... Poor tone and attitude apparent over the phone. Had to call back 2x.
Recommendations: Fix the above. Will go to another Staples with better customer service.
Funny thing is I'm reading this textbook Fundamentals of HR Management and I'm on chapter 10 Managing Employee...
Read moreThe copy and print girl I believe her name was Allie was completely rude not customer friendly at all! From the moment she talked to us she was giving attitude. We were there trying to ship a package to the city hall. After sometime another associate came to help she was nice but wasn't fully trained. What was fine. We were there for 15 minutes or so before they told us we couldn't ship the package due to their store rule against certain documents after the allie girl pulled the girl helping to the side and discussed with her what was wrong with our package. When the allie girl told us this she did not say sorry. She just looked annoyed. Just so you are aware Copy and Print is one of the most important jobs that require a very customer friendly interaction. If I was there to get posters or prints she would have lost my business from the first two minutes. Its truly a shame that someone with such attitude works in...
Read moreCompletely disgusting store. Worst Staples I have ever been to. Went in to get a few copies and it took 20 minutes to print 5 resumes. Not only was I ignored by a rather slow moving large women, she also rolled her eyes and sent me to the self-serve machine. She didn't bother to ask what kind of prints I wanted. After I told her that I wanted resumes printed, she said it would take a few minutes to sign me up, so it may take a while to print. I mentioned I have already been in, and that my information should already be inputed. She again rolled her eyes and sighed. Being the only person in the store, this was a ridiculous wait. The bathrooms were also absolutely filthy! I've seen deserted gas stations in better conditions. Been in three times hoping the customer service would improve and it has not. I would rather drive further than go...
