Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Westbrook

Today I feel discriminated and make fun of because of my accent or because I am a person of color, I been coming to this DQ for 18 years, every time have a blizzard, after having my treat I will go home very satisfied, although the people behind the counter are not the sweetest because they are crazy busy, unfortunately, tonight I had a bad experience, where I feel mistreated by the manager Heather, she was called inside the restaurant by one of the employees who make a mistake, when I place my order I ask one of the young ladies behind the counter, that whenever she ring me out, please make three different orders/transactions because I need three different receipts due to my job, she said ok, she begin to ring out the first order and I pay she give me a receipt then I pay the second order she gave me a receipt, and then she walked away, and then I realized that she put two items in one receipt when I had told her that I need the receipt for each item, I ask her please to fix She said that she don’t know how then she called her manager who was already outside living home, The manager came in and asked me what happened I explain. And then she said we cannot fix it because we will lose money and then I say the money is there in the register you only need to void this receipt and ring me out each item again and then she start the process with a smirky smile on her face, and I feel like she was making fun of me. I don’t know if it was because my accent or because I am a person of color, then she fix the transaction and gave me two receipts, and then she remark to me….. next time make sure you explain this to the workers and I said I did explain that to the young lady who took my order, It wasn’t my fault and then I asked for her name and she said why? You didn’t like something? And I said yes I didn’t like your attitude, and then I walk away to my table, as soon as I sat on my table, her and the workers behind the counter were laughing very hard and loud. Perhaps they were making fun of me. I feel very disrespected today at this nice place that I’ve been coming...

Food tasted good, but it seems like every time I come here it gets more expensive and they are skimpy with your food. My son ordered a med onion rings and only got 7. When I ordered my medium sundea, it looked like a small. Other Dairy queens I've been to, their medium us like a large almost. I mentioned thus to the manager and she trued justifying that alm Dairy queens do 7ounces across the board and she thought she was doing me a favor fir adding one more tablespoon of soft serve on top. I gave so.e good memories here, which helped me come back, but it's not worth the $ anymore to be skimped on when others give a little more for your $$. I think this us my last time here and I'll stick with Cromwell Dairy queen and if near the shore-...

The place is sketchy you have to walk around machines until you find an order here sign. When I got up to the counter and started to order some chicken baskets she said we have no chicken in a quick an annoyed voice. I literally took 2 seconds to try to decide if I should still order ice cream or what and when I started speaking again she rudely said your time is up you have to go back to the end of the line if I wanted to order. There was only 2 other people! and it was only 2 seconds literally. I ended up leaving and not ordering because of how rude she was.
