Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Westfield Township

Management is a total clown show. While I was there around 8:20 pm on Thursday July 31st, a door dasher arrived and asked for their order. The girl at the front counter informed her they were out of the flavor the customer had requested and that multiple dashers had already come and gone without the food. The dasher then contacted the customer and the customer chose a different flavor they had in stock. All of us customers at the counter then saw the front counter girl tell a male manager and another female employee what the customer’s new order was, and they nodded to signify they understood.

Fifteen or so minutes go by and the front counter girl was gone and a teenage guy had taken her place. He called the dasher up and informed her the store was out of the flavor on the original order. The dasher explained they had resolved this over 10 minutes ago and that the manager was aware and was supposed to have been making the food. The poor kid was mortified and said “You’re kidding?” The manager is standing about 10 feet away within earshot but refusing to deal with this himself. The dasher finally got him to respond after calling out “sir” a few times, then this GROWN MAN starts WHINING like a spoiled little kid saying “I don’t know what I’m maaaaking, I can’t make it if I don’t know what I’m maaaaking”. I am not exaggerating, he was whining like a little girl (no shade to little girls! I’m sure plenty of them would have handled this situation with more maturity and competence than this full grown, salaried manager). I’ve truly never seen anything like it. They might as well bring in the robots to this location. I planned a big dinner for 8 and drove 20 min to get to this Popeyes. I ordered a 12 piece bucket, an 8 piece nuggets, an extra mashed, and fries. When I got home, the nuggets and fries were missing. That would be 40 minutes round trip for me. So we made do with the 12 piece. I called twice and no answer. It took me 2 days to get back out there. When I got there, the manager was real rude to me like I was trying something sinister to get $10 after driving 20 minutes to get there. She asked me what I ordered and went through it item by item. The missing items amounted to what I paid. She then asked me if I had my receipt. I didn’t but I had the email that I made the purchase at that Popeyes, at the day and time in question. She then told me that I had to have the actual receipt so she could see the items, even though she just went through it out loud. I would have given it a 1 but it’s Popeyes and it is good. Still, they need robots here because they can’t pack food properly and the manager...
