Mixed results. The beef with garlic sauce was very good. The house special lo mein was also above average. The teriyaki chicken was just average. Not bad at all but not outstanding either. The General Tsos chicken on the other hand was lousy. Made with previously prepared chicken and reheated in the deep fryer it was a bit overcooked, and not crispy like it should have been but almost soggy. The sauce was a different than any I have had previously. Not bad but not quite what I expected. That I actually liked. The fried rice was greasy but tasted good. And the egg roll was overly soaked in oil and barely average in taste. Since moving this is the closest Chinese restaurant to me. I'll probably be back many more times but will certainly look for...
Read moreThis is the best restaurant in the world. If you want the best Chinese food you’ve ever had in your life, you have to go here. I’ve been to Chinese places all over the country and nothing hits the same as China Star. I’m not sure how other places in town stay in business. It’s a shame that people would choose restaurants like Panda House, King Yen Too, Feng Ye, or Emma’s over this establishment. The ingredients that China Star uses are always fresh and cooked to perfection. Not to mention… their buffet hits different than most. If you’re looking for quality I hope you choose China Star. Lastly, the workers are top-notch, trained, personable, and professional. China Star is love. China...
Read moreThis is the finest Chinese restaurant, I’ve ever been to and it’s really underrated and people should come here more often and the prices are really good and you get good portions. Food that is really popular is: Pork fried rice; Lo Maine; Chicken wings; beef broccoli. I’ve had tried these and they really hit the spot, really good and leave you wanting more. On the other hand the only dish I didn’t like was the dumplings they were not Pleasant and very bland and too mushy but besides that everything is really good and always on point!...
