If I could give ZERO stars I would. We sat down at the bar to a bartender who immediately seemed to despise our existence. I don’t know if this is because my mother has a lisp or if it’s because I have two full sleeves of tattoos or if it’s because she was just in a terrible mood but I have never in my life been made to feel so uncomfortable. We came in tonight and the place was not very busy. Despite this we waited ten minutes for drinks, and we had to ask the host for a menu to order food. Eventually the bartender came back and said “are you getting food?” We said yes and she replied “well are you ready!?” It’s hard to put into words the way a person can look at you and speak to you in a way that just cuts deep. When our food arrived it was genuinely, and literally, thrown at us, with no words. This is when I flagged down the manager (I believe) who I asked “did we do something to offend the bartender? Because I have never been treated with such disgust.” Ultimately, we left with nothing comp’d aside from a meatball grinder we received ice cold, and ate nothing more than a trial bite of.
In summary: I have never felt so uncomfortable, and we will never return. I advise you to visit 7Bs or Westwood or anywhere else before coming here. If the food was good, it may be worth the garbage service, but the food sucked, the service was horrendous, and we were all made to feel like we bothered them...

Cool name Strawberry IPA
The average at best
Poutine- Almost criminally misleading. Tater tots with some odd white sauce and bacon with melted mozzarella on top. No fries no gravy no curds???
Apple walnut salad - decent overall but would it kill the prep cooks to cut the romaine into pieces that can fit into an actual mouth? I have an above average mouth. Awkward to eat.
Alfredo Flatbread- Probably the same odd white sauce used for the “poutine”. You can do a better job at home to buy Naan bread and put toppings on. Odd overall. Hard to handle and hard to cut.
Forks provided - barely a step above good plasticware. Probably from the dollar store just taking a stab here. Asked the waitress why and her response was it gets busy and we accidentally throw the good silverware out? BYOF bring your own fork.
ZERO accountability! ZERO logic! ZERO standards! Maybe stop in for a beer or two and hang out just don’t get your hopes up. Wish I...
Read moreI guess that we are regulars at the Maple Leaf because Google always reminds me of how long it will take to get there as I'm walking to my car on Fridays after work. The atmosphere is friendly and casual. The bartenders (shout out to Bridget!) are talented, efficient, and friendly. Bridget will make you a margarita that will blow your socks off. The food is great! My better half often gets the pretzel bites which are served with a house-made jalapeno cheese dip. Yum! I love their quesadillas, and I think that I have tried every one of them. Their salads are so huge and fresh ( I recommend the Cobb). I also like their flatbreads (the chicken parmesan with peppers and onions is sooooo good!). The Maple Leaf is clean, well-run, and (let me say it again, friendly). If you are new to Western Massachusetts and looking to feel at home, you can't do better...
