I would just like to say I don't know what happened to the quality that we used to be able to receive from this establishment but I will say this we have an order from these people in a long time due to the fact the last experience we had the chicken was moldly!! Since it's been a while we decided to pull up in order food and try them one more time again today we received our order and the order came with no separation of the different flavors. So I called to talk to the manager and their excuse was we don't separate the different flavors and less requested. Like really what sense does that make? Common Sense would say if I ordered chicken with sauce and I ordered chicken without sauce I would not want the sauce to be on the chicken that I want it without sauce. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I feel like staff needs a better attitude I feel like they need to be retrained or some type of Common Sense use when preparing food for people that has been spending money with you for a long period of time! But we will not be back there are way better places where people can spend their money in the town of Westfield Mass and get a better quality product! Read moreFor over a year it has been our favorite place to go. Unfortunately our past 4 visits have been a disaster. Our latest visit was the final straw..waitress was horrible from the start. It took her 15 mins just to get our non alcoholic drinks, half of our food came out I had to walk up to her to ask for the rest of our food after 5 mins and she told me to wait it would be there soon. When we did get our food it was wrong. When I brought that to her attention she rolled her eyes and argued with me saying she would have written it down if I ordered that way and then changed her story saying it wasn't her fault it was the cook's because she did ask for it that way. I asked for the manager and he acted like it was no big deal...no one ever apologized. He came back with my wings that were under done the first time and told me I couldn't say these were wrong because he watched them be made...at this point all I could do was laugh and ask for my check. Got my check and I was over charged for items we didn't order. We spent another 15 mins waiting for that to be fixed. I really hope they can get back to how great they were. Read moreI'll start by saying I adore the food at hangar. The Amherst location and the South Hadley location both have great food, atmosphere and service. The Westfield location was disappointing today to say the least, and as far as I'm concerned is not an option in the map. Here's why: We ordered after about 35 minutes waiting, and while we are always patient and understanding when there is a rush, the problem was with the attitude of the manager when our food arrived wrong. I politely pointed out that she had brought me something over than what I ordered and she responded with "Well your server should not have let you order that. Do you want this chicken or nothing at all?" They were clearly operating short staffed and were stressed, but threatening to refuse to serve a customer because the kitchen made the order wrong is a great way to ensure that we will drive a little further for better service in the future.
