So....I ordered online then went to pick up my order. When I went in, there was a lady in front of me, at the counter, having trouble, it appeared, with her credit card. After 5 minutes, I asked if I could just pick up my order that was sitting on the counter under the heating lights. The cashier just said one moment. Then, another 5 minutes passed, and I asked the drive-thru cashier if she could close my containers and pack up my order. Then she picked up my box of shrimps and went in the back for another 3-4 minutes, and I'm beyond smoking hot at this point. Finally, she strolled out from the back, with a new order of shrimp, packed up my order, she saw that the shrimp box wasn't closing due to the broken tab, but did she get another box??? Noooo, that would have been too much like right. So finally, I got my order, and the front cashier had just finished with the person who was standing there with the credit card issue. She apologized when I took my bag to leave. 1ST OFF, WHY WOULDN'T YOU HAVE SIMPLY TOLD THE LADY TO HOLD ON 1 SEC, WHILE SHE BAGGED AND HANDED ME THE ORDER THAT WAS ACTUALLY ALREADY PAID FOR??? Everyone there seemed to be going in slow motion, like customers don't have other things to do. Had I not ordered online and paid already, I would have left. Apparently, how to prioritize and problem solve to maintain good customer service in the midst of a problem wasn't anything they taught during training. It was just common sense to me, but oh well. I'll never go back. Then hard cold food was my grand prize to present to my family for...
Read moreI spent $75 dollars and deeply regret it - I knew better. First, I called to place my order so I could give specifications such as two fries as a sides and all food cooked well-done since online wouldn’t allow it. I quickly got off the phone because the manager didn’t know about the specials being offered online. Not sure if that’s completely her fault especially when multiple platforms are listing prices. So I ended up placing the order online, then I called and clarified I wanted two large fries with my order and ALL my food cooked well-done. The chicken was the only thing that was crispy. They only gave one large fry and thankfully we did catch that before leaving. The okra was complete mush, the fish was super soft. All my food was clearly rushed out. This was an online order (not drive thru) so I don’t understand why the food couldn’t be cooked as requested. Especially for $75 dollars. They were not busy so again I don’t understand why the food could not be cooked as requested no one likes soft fried seafood or OKRA! Also, just be aware the family size okra is served in a large...
Read moreI had a catering order that I called in the day prior, after calling earlier in the week to make sure 24 hours was sufficient for 80 wings, 1/2 pan of fries and 24 biscuits.
I asked for my chicken fried twice and to add extra lemon pepper on everything. It was good, cooked all the way through, and even better than the one in Inkster!
I arrived late unfortunately and the wings and fries were STILL hot! I think the guy who answered the phone was Rich/Richard (?) and was the one who took my order. He held down the front of the restaurant by himself and there was one cook in the back. Long as you give these workers some grace because they are doing everything with one/two people, they’ll make sure your order is up to par....
