LV RESTAURANT & LOUNGE — Restaurant in Westminster

My experience at LV Restaurant & Lounge was disappointing, to say the least. Despite the rave reviews we had seen on Facebook, our family's catering order left us thoroughly unimpressed. We typically order from Tram Chim restaurant and have always been satisfied, but we decided to give LV a chance based on the buzz.

We ordered combo #1 for our small family gathering, spending around $300 for 5 trays of food. Unfortunately, none of the dishes lived up to our expectations. Here's a breakdown of our experience:

Salt & Pepper Shrimps: The shrimp were far from fresh and lacked the expected chewiness. Freshness is key with seafood, and these shrimp just didn't meet the mark. Fried Rice: The fried rice was bland and lacked any distinct flavors. It didn't resemble the house special, salted fish, or crab fried rice that we're accustomed to from other restaurants. It tasted like a mishmash of white rice, butter, and fish sauce, with a large fried egg on top. Salt & Pepper Squid: The squid were also bland and overcooked, resulting in a chewy texture. This dish was far from enjoyable. Shaken Beef: This was the low point of the meal. The beef had no flavor and was severely overcooked. Despite the abundance of garlic in the dish, none of its flavor came through. It felt like they might have used frozen garlic, which affected the taste. This place made me have a horrible experience, the people working here gave me horrible service because they gave us dirty utensils, they rushed us so they could talk to their coworkers and the food was served cold. The place is a whole mess because almost all the tables weren’t even cleaned up and the bathroom had a dirty toilet and a rusty sink. The floor had food and the plates were all greasy and my friend nearly slipped and hit his head on a table because there wasn’t a wet floor sign. The employees clearly didn’t care because of the tone...

Our server was absolutely rude. When we found out the walls had wet paint from what I assume to be some renovation, all she said was “sorryyyy” in a very sarcastic and insincere tone and dismissed it by asking us what we’d like to order. She also took another table’s utensils to give to us. Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting, not to mention the food takes forever to come out as well when the restaurant isn’t even busy.
