Mildred's Table — Restaurant in Weston

While we were on our way through the Vermont countryside to the Vermont Country Store, we had lunch at Mildred's Table which is right beside the country store. To my surprise, we were greeted and seated right away by a very friendly waitress who suggested the pulled pork sandwich special. My wife and I agreed to split the pulled pork sandwich and the grilled cheese sandwich. We also each ordered beer, the Vermont Green State by Zero Gravity and my wife The Green Stand Vermont IPA from Mount Olly Beer company. Mildred's Table was an awesome, unplanned part of our adventure today. We were pleasantly surprised that it was open for business. We were very sweetly greeted and seated right away. I apologize that I can't remember everyone's names, but our waitress's brother was the busboy. Everyone from the Hostess, to the Busboy, to the Waitress and the Manager were all wonderful. Everyone was on task and provided impeccable service. At our table we had grilled cheese sandwiches, french fries, cole slaw, chicken fingers and a burger. Everyone said their food was good. We stopped here for lunch after going to the Vermont Country Store. The food was overall good, but, I feel like the servings were a bit small for the prices you were paying. My wife also got (I forgot what it was called, it's in the pictures) the cake thing, and it came with butter, but wasn't warm. I thought that was odd. The servers were SUPER nice, but, it was clear that they were understaffed. As a result, service was a bit slow. I can't blame the servers, or even management, as I don't know what the situation was.
