My wife told me about this place and said that everyone was raving about the chicken, so we decided to try it. We stopped for lunch on a Friday at 11:45pm and there were only a couple tables open. This is a small place (think authentic 50s diner, not the kind with pictures of Elvis and reproduction Coke signs), with maybe 30 people max seating. Whatever you do, don't judge the book by its cover. The owner (great guy!) gave us menus and took our drink order. We split a 4 pc chicken dinner with mashed potatoes & gravy along with mac and cheese. After a short wait, around 5 mins, he returned with our meal, and he already had it on two plates for us. There are no frills here. Exactly what you order is what comes on the plate. No garnish, no flourish. But man oh man, is that chicken gooooood. The skin is crispy but not fried hard so that you think your teeth will shatter. The seasoning is just right - super tasty! The meat is moist but not underdone. This is the kind of chicken you remember from grandma's house on Sunday. Or in this case, Pa's house. I travel all the time for work and I always tell people that the best chicken is at the chain Pizza Ranch (don’t laugh until you try it). Until now. I cannot put into words how good this is. All the sides were handmade, and you could tell they really care about the food they put out. After we were finished scarfing down our food, we decided to try something else and we ordered a cup of their cheese potato soup, which was really good as well. We also grabbed a couple cookies on the way out. I cannot wait to take my family here; I think they are going to love it and be pleasantly surprised like I was. This is one of the only places that has ever lived up to online hype, I will be back often.

Yum! Kinda a hidden gem! SO heard o this place n wanted to try it out. Yet another chicken joint. SMH. Personally, I don't get how one chicken nugget (he claims they're strips o breast meat, but usually they are the same ol processed meat as every other place) can taste any different than any other. He n my stepson get chicken nuggets n honey mustard sauce EVERY place we go! WHY?! Anyways, I got the 4 piece fried chicken which was only like $10! Cheap for like half a chicken: breast, wing, thigh n drumstick. He got... u guessed it- chicken 'strips' n honey mustard. *eye roll* We got these white cheese bites as appetizers. They were delicious, evenly toasted all around. The restaurant is covered in charming chicken deco everywhere. Very country cottage. Waitress was super sweet. My traditional bone in chicken was great! The battered crust was light n crispy, extremely well seasoned with--- SALT! Whoa. Revolutionary. Perfectly cooked. 👌 SO's chicken strips had the same type batter on them. They were very soft, looked almost like catfish and had the same texture. They were uniformly flat so not sure how "natural" they were, but w/e, he liked em. I got macncheese. It was pretty terrible, unfortunately. Waaay over cooked to the point the mouthfeel was essentially akin to pudding, the noodles were so soft n mushy. Even SO refused to eat it. Mashed taters n gravy, ok. Typical. Fries were hot fresh n well seasoned. Def recommend this chicken shack and will be back :D

They forgot our catering order. In the midst of a house full of people for a birthday party, I didn't have the sense to process everything. I was apologized to & I tried to be understanding. Now the day after where I'm thinking clearly & they're closed so I can't call. The food wasn't hot. I know it's a 20 min ride but I'm guessing there weren't warming bags used. Also, there was no chafing dish setup to hold the pans over a sterno to keep the food warmed. I assumed you got those in a catering order. Lesson learned in assuming anything. Also, I was never quoted a price when I called. My fault for not asking. How does 60 pieces of chicken cost $96.00 & a full pan of Mac n'cheese cost $90.00? I know prices are wild these days but something isn't right there. For the inconvenience we weren't charged for delivery & were given 10% off. The owners response is all we need to know we'd never go back.

As a newly engaged couple, we were in the market for a wedding caterer. We have gotten dinner at Pa’s plenty of times. It’s hands down the best chicken, in my opinion. This small family run business catered our wedding on 10.1.2022, and it was NOTHING short of amazing! Our wedding reception was around 100 people, we ordered 300 pieces of chicken, 2 full trays mashed potatoes and gravy, 2 full trays Italian Beef, 2 full trays polish sausage and kraut, 2 full trays of mac-n-cheese, 1 full pan beef noodles, 1 full pan mostaccoli, and 2 full trays of green beans. All night I overheard guests complimenting the food, and I am still getting calls and texts asking where the food was from, and how excellent it all was. Kevin Rust and his staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and as a bride that planned their entire wedding without help of a planner, it was a huge relief to work with Pa’s, as they took care of everything we needed. If you need a caterer, or just want some really awesome home cooked food that will keep your friends and family talking, GO WITH PA’S! We can’t express enough how grateful we are for Pa’s Chicken Coupe, exceeding all of our expectations!...
