Don't be fooled when you walk into this establishment...I was less than impressed, initially. I saw a lady waiting in the corner by the door and asked her specifically... had she ever eaten here before??? The guy behind the counter and she chimed in at the same time that she, she was a regular.... 🤔 Hmmm. I asked her for a recommendation and she told about the glazed spicy garlic wings. The owner?? He had black framed glasses, was very personable. He explained what the menu was, what they were known for, what a lot of people ordered..shrimp fried rice and the egg rolls, the "SPECIAL" and the famous "WEGO" sauce!!!! Of course a business owner is always gonna oversell the business. Bae Beeeee!!! People, I told him if this is good as you say!!!!!!!!!!! I will be back tomorrow. Well, I ate here three times in a week, waiting to smack somebody's Mama. I will tell you on my second visit, I was promoting the sauces from inside while waiting for my order to come up. People!!! This is not a hidden gem, but a BLOOD DIAMOND!!! Westwego Wings, I want a little extra shrimp fried 🍚 rice when I come back....cause I'm coming. CAPP!!! Patronize until ya overdraft ya...

We both got wings. Wings were smaller than you'd think, but they was definitely a good bit of meat on the bones, as opposed to other places that had barely a bite worth of meat. Wings were not drowned in so much sauce that you couldn't taste the meat, but still plenty of sauce.

Only down sides was that, while the lady at the counter was very kind, we had to keep asking for certain things, like our side cups of ranch, that we still didn't get, as well the tables being kind of gross. The whole place didn't seem gross, but the tables were.

We will still be back on the off chance it was right after a dinner rush and didn't have a moment to clean up. Food is definitely worth...

They are fast and fresh as advertised. Food is delish. However, the cashier has a horrible attitude. Her mood change when dealing with black customers. She does not have any knowledge of what’s on the menu. I didn’t have my glasses on so I asked her what side options I had to choose from and she acted as if I was annoying her as she pointed to the menu board. She also did not inform us that a free drink comes with every meal. I will not eat or refer anybody to eat there as long as she is behind...
