Weymouth House of Pizza — Restaurant in Weymouth

Place was great. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious, better than most and the burger itself was cooked perfect with good meat quality. Some restaurants do not care how they cook it and just throw it in the box as a slop sh*t burger. These guys don't do that. Update 1/2024 The past 6 months I'm not sure what happened with the food, but it seems to be very worse than what I was used to before. Any kind of grilled chicken wrap you get all the chicken is like big chunks of chicken in there, so much so that it totally ruins the wrap. One time I got a buffalo chicken wrap, and you would expect the chicken to be freshed cooked and fried crisp, but that's not what I got, I got cold chicken pieces that looked like they were cooked previously and throw in there cold.

The last time I went there was very good. The tacos were great. I wasn't sure I was going to get the tacos, but it was a new menu item, and i wanted to try it. I've gotten Carnitas at other real mexican restaurants, and they weren't very good and dry. But the ones here the Carnitas Tacos were great. They were a little greasy, but were so much more flavorful than some real deal...

Had the worst experience, tried to call an order in on the phone listed. Kept taking me to a text order. Texting is not an option on 93S. I tried different numbers one went to full voice mail. After 20 minutes I called directory assistance. Finally got a person who took my order and told me 20minutes. I got to Weymouth about 30 minutes. Walked in and I must have been invisible because I stood there for a few minutes and two more guys got in line behind me. Girl came to counter and looked past me and asked the guy behind me if he was all set. He got his pizza and left. I asked the girl why she looked past me. She said I thought you were helped. The other guy behind me says "I'm behind you what's your problem. He was a friend of the owner, the owner/manager looked at me and said "we are busy" OK then. I guess they are all set. Never walking in there again. No Covid protection there, no distance...

My big problem is Say a sub is at 8.99 + tax, everything cost extra, so at the end it is a $15 sub. For that i can make 3 subs (lg). So i dont subscribe to all of the "convenience fees". I understand the income bracket for the average Weymouth resident, so it is priced for the area ( 10yrs in Weymouth n about 30yrs on the South Shore, and a former professional chef). Its a "you dont have a car so your stuck with the prices tax" I lived over a decade on Front St. 02188, and a $100k+yr Electrician at current. To ownership: please prove me wrong. Show me your food stock invoice. Show me your not over charging for basically a menu of mostly pre frozen, fried food.
