Great hole in the wall spot for any of the items on their menu. Besides serving great tasting food, the people behind the counter are extremely chill, yet professional at the same time. They are opened at 6am and close early (around 2:30pm I believe).
My favorite is their breakfast platter which includes 2 eggs (any style) with a choice of meat (ham, sausage or bacon), hashbrowns (or fries) and toast. It really fills you up pretty well in the morning and the price is great.
There are about 4 tables in the establishment, but they are small. A TV is always on with CNN or another news channel running in case you want to catch up on your current events while waiting for your breakfast.
Aside from the longish wait time around 7:30am (that's when everyone and their mothers come in for breakfast)....during cold winters, it is extremely humid inside. My glasses immediately fogs up when I walk through those doors. That's because the size of the kitchen is larger than the size of their waiting/dining area.
The staff members in there have been there for a long time. Most likely a family business and they provide great service with a smile. Even at 7am when most of us are still half asleep and grumpy.
This is definitely a 5 star joint in my books! Give...
Read moreMy class and I recently visited Pop's Bagels, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The owner took the time to share his story with us, and it was so inspiring to hear about his journey and passion for making the best bagels in town.
And the bagels? Absolutely delicious! They were fresh, perfectly chewy on the inside, and had that perfect crispiness on the outside. With so many flavors to choose from and an amazing selection of spreads and toppings, there was something for everyone in our class to enjoy.
Beyond the incredible food, the customer service was outstanding. The staff was patient, friendly, and made sure everyone felt welcome. You could tell they genuinely cared about making our visit special.
If you’re looking for a place with amazing bagels, a warm atmosphere, and an owner who truly loves what he does, Pop's Bagels is the place to go. My classmates and I left not only with full stomachs but also with a newfound appreciation....
Read moreThis is New Jersey, we are famous for our breakfast sandwiches. There are hundreds of places that will you give two eggs per sandwich; and a generous pile of bacon or whatever meat you choose. I have 3/5 stars because they did give me a sandwich, but it tasted like mostly bread as they only give you one egg, and a few crumbles of bacon pieces. This problem could be solved by simply giving two eggs per sandwich and a more generous portion of meat. When you buy eggs in bulk and cheese in bulk it costs less than 10 cents per. When you charge as much as you do for a sandwich there should be somebring worth while in it. That’s the most constructive...
