Interesting experience at Jimmy Johns- I pull up to the menu sign to place my order , no cars in front of me , no cars behind me. JJ (using some kind of goofy deep voice): Welcome to Jimmy Johns, can I take your order? Me: (a little surprised by the tone of the welcome message) Ummm...sure, I’ll take a #7. (No immediate response, a few seconds pass and I’m wondering where the guy went?) Me: Hello...hello? JJ: (responding in a regular voice) Oh sorry, did you want anything else, drink or chips? Me: No, thank you, just a #7 (No response asking me to pull up, but I know the drill so I pull up to the window. I wait a reasonable amount of time, and the associate comes to the window) JJ: That will be $7.33 (I hand him a $20, he disappears for a bit, comes back, hands me my sandwich and disappears again. I wait for about 20-30 seconds for my change while I watch him scurry back and forth a few times in and out of my view. Finally I realize, he’s forgotten me. Remember, there is no one else at the drive up. I’m not even sure there were customers in the store. The next time I see him come by, I rap on the drive up window to get his attention. He comes to the window.) JJ: yes? Me: ( a little irritated): Hey, I gave you $20. JJ: Oh, I’m so sorry- what did you order? Me: A #7 JJ: How much was it? Me: (thinking- what !? Is this really happening?) I don’t know, it was a #7. JJ: ok (At this point, I’m pretty irritated) Me: What’s the store number here? JJ: Store number? I don’t know. Me: Is there a manager on duty? JJ: Manager? Yes. ( A short awkward pause) Me: I would like to speak to him please. JJ: um ok. (He leaves for awhile, the manager comes to the window. Two other employees mill around in the background to listen in on our conversation. The manager is not much older than the kid I’ve been dealing with. ) Me: You’re the manager tonight? JJ: yes Me: your staff doesn’t seem to be at 100% tonight. Their attitude doesn’t seem to be in the right place. JJ: yes, I know, I’ve been trying to get them to do their job, but they aren’t listening? (I’m thinking - what? Then fire them! Send them home, are you listening to yourself? Who puts up with that?) Me: well looks like I’ll need to go to a higher level, thanks. Now...
Read moreNow I know what ppl mean when they say if they could leave no stars...Veronica(general manager) was really rude when myself and a coworker called about some sandwiches we ordered today not tasting well. This meat tastes like it's been sitting out overnight. Veronica blames it on the delivery being over an hour ago from the call being made. No deli meat that I've ever had has tasted like this sitting out for an hour. I've left sandwiches sitting out an entire shift and the meat has never tasted this bad. This meat was sitting out, maybe it wasn't covered up, could be expired, I don't know but Veronica isn't taking responsibility for her team's hiccups. The driver(Samuel) was upset when he came in and tossed the bag on our counter and said something about the address being wrong. I get it ppl have days where their attitudes are off. But Veronica says that because Samuel has been working there for 6 years that she finds it hard to believe that Samuel would behave this way. Well if she's is rude to her customers, I'm sure she's rude to her staff as well. Being a general manager, she should have a better attitude when customers call with complaints. My biggest worry is that I'm pregnant and consuming spoiled deli isn't ideal for myself or baby. We've ordered from here in the past and never had issues until today. Going forward, you have lost a customer. I can't believe this is the attitude and responses I'm getting from a general manager. Now you may not own this business but I will be reaching out to the owners of this establishment and making them of aware of this situation. I'm sure there's someone more suitable for the general manager position. Veronica is not someone who should be leading a team with that kind of attitude. To Veronica and Samuel, I really hope you all tighten up your customer service skills and have a...
Read morePlaced order over phone epecting freaky fast since I was at work and on time crunch. I had to go back to work after 40 mins of placing order and still no food. I don't know when my food actually came. I work very close to them and understand other orders were placed before mine but tell me on the phone how long it's going to be. Uber eats was faster! My coworkers left and got food faster than they had delivered. Thanks to them I had no lunch and ended up eating on my drive home from work. What if I had a medical condition and I missed lunch?! Next time tell ppl on phone you have long wait times. I would of used Uber eats or rushed out on my own. Both would have been faster. I called three times. Manager did not seem to care of my concerns and I felt she should of handle things better. I will not be back even with it so close and possibly my coworkers they are also upset it took so long and don't want to be in same position.
Other occasions...we walk in, our order is not right, seems like high turnover and no one knows what...
