America still has places like TNT's but they're becoming like Hobby Stores few and far between. Great food and people. Lots of parking. No dinner hours. Great "American" coffee. If the Radio/CD's played music from the 40's through 70's that would feel and sound good to fit the atmosphere. As the great Merle Haggard sang. "I wish a buck was still silver it was back when the country was strong, back before Elvis and the Vietnam war came along. Before the Beatles and Yesterday when a man could still work and still would. I wish a ford and a Chevy would still last ten years like they should. I wish coke was still cola and a joint was a bad place to be. It was before Nixon and Clinton who lied to us all on TV. Before microwave ovens when a girl could still cook and still would. Are we rolling down hill like a snowball headed for hell with no kind of chance for the flag or the liberty bell, is the best of the free life behind us now, Are The Good Times Really Over For Good?" For America, it looks like it for TNT's, the Good Times Are still here. Stop in enjoy breakfast, lunch, friends and you might even be lucky enough to here a good joke...
Read moreI love going to Mr Allison's in Mt Prospect for breakfast but I was in this area so thought I would try TNT. Hard to find parking. The service was ok, not as good as at Mr Allison's. The portions of hash browns and ham not as big as Mr Allison's. Then when I went to pay they take cash only!! It is 2018!! The server told me there is ATMS over here and over there. The fees would have been as much as my breakfast. I had to go over to Walgreens and get a bag of M&MS to get cash back. When I went back to pay the guy acting like the owner said sorry for the inconvenience. I asked if they had a sign letting customers know and he said at the register which I couldn't see. I advised him they should take cards these days because a lot of people down Cary cash or at least have signs on the entrance and at the tables to give a heads up before you order. He seem to tell me to have a nice day loud with an attitude.. No more TNT for me!! They seem to cater to the regulars. I will stick to Mr Allison's! Best...
Read moreYa know, I lived in Arlington Heights for a just over 2 yrs & I can not count the times I went past your place & all I had was my Card to use. Today was the first actual time I've been in, sat down & ordered. Due to where we were sitting.. my Labrador & Poodle friends were able to join us for breakfast. For me, this was an amazing stop. The staff was friendly & courteous.. all jokes applied. The fur babies were even taken care of even though, I know I had said we'll take care of them. They all just really went the distance as far as I'm concerned... and my fur babies sitting there at the table with us... blows me away!
BTW guys.. Jinks & Cody loved their eggs, hash browns & touch of...
