Dugger's Market — Restaurant in Wheeling

Nobody is ever at the register. I stood at the register for about 10 minutes.. while the worker and two other women sat there counting a drawer having an entire conversation while I'm standing at the register.. not acknowledging I'm even standing there I walked right in and directly to the register... I had to ask the woman in front of me that I thought was a customer.. if there was a cashier.. apparently she worked there not in uniform and was on her lunch.. she told me I had to go around.. so I walk over to the heavy set woman explain she could have told me to come over to where she was.. as I was walking out the door she very rudely was calling me names, my 11-year-old daughter had to tell me what was said as we were walking out the door... I went back in and confronted her... Very nasty and unprofessional. She needs to lose her job you don't know what's going on in someone else's life and this was not necessary, and very rude I'm sure there's plenty of people with manners that need a job...

I have never needed the option to rate a place 0 stars as much as I do right now until visiting this horrifying gem ... if you want to shop or eat at a run down "convenience" store that could probably be found on the set of "Deliverance" then come on down here. The staff had that glazed over look of the undead in their eyes and their indifferent, blase attitude reeked throughout the place - along with the scent of their uncovered cigarette laced coughs that they spread, quite near the food they were making without gloves. I should note that I have never been here on my own volition and that I was brought to this nightmare while picking up a Door Dash order for someone. I saw and smelled... all that I needed to know that I'm genuinely concerned for all that patronize this place on their free will. ...

A great place to get fresh reasonable priced lunch meat in a flash. Or the girls box you up a lunch from there hot bar. Fry you up a bucket of chicken have it ready for you if you call ahead for pick-up. Made to order pizza or a fresh hot baked hoagie with any of the cheese they have at the deli. Or grab 1 of their meal combos. A drink from the fountain pop to a beer. While you wait on your food to be made you can go drop a couple of bucks in the poker machines at their casino. Maybe win free...
