Farmboy — Restaurant in White Center

I was really looking forward to trying this spot, especially since I’m always on the hunt for a great burger—and the reviews were glowing. We placed our order with a very friendly staff member and then waited… and waited. After more than 40 minutes, our two burgers and single order of fries finally arrived.

Unfortunately, the fries were cold and overcooked. The burger itself was hot and juicy, which I appreciated, but the flavor profile just wasn’t for me—the seasoning and special sauce had a strong taste, maybe cumin, that I found off-putting.

Overall, this seems like a fun place to hang out, socialize, and bring your dog. But if you’re looking for a quick meal, be prepared for a long wait. We noticed quite a few others who had also been...

Farmboy Bites was a great find! We love smash burgers and their's are delicious! The staff was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly.

JoJos: we got the JoJos and they were good! They had a great seasoning and the potatoes ranged in size making it fun to reach into the back and see what you got.

Farmboy: with two 2oz smashed patties, their special sauce, thickles, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sweet onion, this was my favorite burger! The thickles we pickled in an interesting brine which was not my favorite, but worth a try.

Chzbrgr: one 4oz smashed pattie, smoky ketchup, thickles, cheese, and sweet onion. This was a good burger! I didn't care for the smoky ketchup, but luckily I had some special sauce...

We arrived at 4 PM per their posted online hours of operation. There was a paper sign on the door that stated they’d open late today, 5 PM instead of 4 PM. My family and I sat and waited ONE hour for them to open and a few minutes before 5 PM the owner walked Over to the paper sign and changed the opening time from 5 to 530 PM for no apparent reason. All the while, he and his staff were at the bar drinking beer the entire time we had been waiting since 4 PM. They offered No apology to all the customers waiting for them to open, nor any explanation. I will never come back to this...
