Great Vibes and Even Better Wine: I had the pleasure of visiting this charming new wine bar, and I have to say—it's a real standout. The space strikes the perfect balance between cozy and modern. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a warm, intimate ambiance that invites you to settle in and stay awhile. The eclectic mix of furnishings—vintage-style leather seating, a vibrant blue rug, and repurposed wine barrels—adds character. The lighting, especially the overhead installation and string lights, gives the whole space a golden glow that's both stylish and relaxing. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines they serve. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or just dipping your toes into the world of wine, they make you feel right at home. The wine selection itself is well-curated with variety that offers something for every palate. It's clear that a lot of care went into choosing wines that are both high-quality and interesting. If you're looking for a casual place to unwind, this wine bar delivers. I’m already looking forward to my next visit....
Read moreHad a wonderful experience at Wolfpack Cellars . Chose the tasting option and requested the wine tender to select the wine tastes for me. Having the printed tasting notes available and the vintner personally explain each pour heightened the tasting experience.
As a bonus, they shared additional free tastes of their frozen rose slushy, that was incredibly flavorful but not overly sweet; and their Konig reserve Cabernet, that really showcased the breadth and complexity the winery can achieve. Even ended up buying a bottle of the Konig to take home for a future dinner.
They are also very pup friendly (with several free treat options) and host a monthly doggy-centric night.
Overall, I really appreciated the desire to share information (and wine) with patrons that was evident in every conversation with the vintner and made me value each wine as a personal expression of the winery rather than just a product.
I highly recommend stopping by to try their wines and chatting with...
Read moreMy partner and I were so excited to see a winery had finally opened in downtown White Center. Not to mention, an LGBTQ-owned and friendly business. We passed by on their first day during Pride for a taste of the Syrah Rose and knew we would have to return.
On a middle of the week evening, we ventured back in and saw that the space had been nicely transformed. A light fixture made of grape vines and a vapor fireplace immediately caught out eye before winemaker and owner James welcomed us in. We ended up doing the $20 tasting of 5 wines. All of the wines were classic Washingtonian with a nice aromatics and bold flavors. The tasting consisted of our favorite Syrah Rose, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. All were tasting nice and would only improve over time. We will be sure to return as they continue to become more...
