I don’t understand why this place is rated so high. The service sucked and the food was mediocre. There were a couple people working there but it took a while to come to our table. When we were ready to pay, a couple of workers were looking at us but ignoring us at the same time. Finally someone came out. Let me talk about food. The broth of pho did not have any flavor whatsoever. The shrimp they gave us were much smaller portions than the photo on the menu. We also ordered Vietnamese coffee. We expected to get a drip with a cup on the bottom. It came out as a regular to-go cup. It was disappointing. And the price was higher than other places. I will not go back there. There are plenty of places I can get much better food and service. I DO NOT recommend this place for anyone. One of the worst experiences.

A tasty spot off the beaten path. I popped into this very unassuming place after being ignored at the Cambodian joint across the street. I was greeted promptly and ordered my food shortly there after. The tea was strong and hot. Love it! My appetizer was a ground pork spring roll. The meat was an Asian salami of some sorts. It was good but lacked flavor overall. Perhaps a few more veggies to make it tastier? The lemongrass chicken and rice plate was tasty. I asked for a fried egg added made the dish. The yolk on the rice was so comforting. The hot broth served on the side was delicious and nourishing. Regardless of a few shortcomings I’d still revisit this place.

Hands down our favorite place for Vietnamese food. We’re bummed that inflated food costs have forced them to drastically increase prices, but whenever we can go, we do. The food is consistently delicious, the service is quick and so friendly and accommodating, and we love that the restaurant feels lived in. Some favorites are: beef pho-whatever meat is great, the broth is a winner here. The spring rolls. The vermicelli bowls. And my son could probably eat their chicken teriyaki every day for the rest of his life and never tire of it. Oh. And they gave me tea while I waited for my takeout. How rad is that!? Thanks Pho 99. I can’t wait until I can come back.

have been there a few times ,food ok services not so good they always forget drinks you asked for and have to reask . Today was a horrible experience I went to eat with my son and mother and my 1 year old was enjoying his soup also had drop some on ground I was cleaning up his spot cause he was done just grabbing and playing with it a thin lady looked like in her 20 ish or 30 ish who I never seen the time I been there. This was around 2pm . in a rude voice she said no no no don't throw on floor my baby then felt bad and cry . At moment we were done so I had got up and pay my mom said when I was paying she pass and said shhhhh to my baby that was crying she lucky I did not hear that or else . Lady must not have kids to be like that . I am also not that person that leave a mess I always leave tips and clean a little even when I know is not my job and that what they get pay for I wish my mom told me about her shh my baby I would have left no tip and have confronted her .I would not go back and I guess not a family place to...

Pretty solid Pho but wow is their pricing misleading.

Checked out their website menu and pictures of their menu that people have posted on Google. Looked like a bowl of Pho was gonna be somewhere around $7 - $9. But once I got there to pay it was nearly $17. For just a large Pho with Steak. Nothing fancy really just the most common order at any Pho restaurant. That feels a little overpriced. That's more like $13 at most places. But what really annoyed me is how the price was essentially double of what I was expecting. They really need to update their website because who wouldn't be frustrated by that?

Vietnamese food used to be affordable and delicious. Now it's just delicious. Gone are the days of $5 Banh Mi and $9 Pho. Both are nearly double now basically everywhere but the international district (and it's coming there too.)

The pho was a...
