My family and I used to go every week. Haven't been in awhile and tonight reminded me of one of reason why. A certain employee was very rude on numerous occassions in our opinion. 1) ordered a baked potato pizza and was told there is still some on the bar. (2 cold pieces with no sour cream). I did get those 2, but as that is a favorite of ours I said well 2 pieces won't exactly feed us all, can u order another? 2) Well while at bar I found a Alfredo pepporoni pizza and took to my daughter to try. She lovedit. So she asked for another to be made, same reaction from different girl who was told by same girl to tell us there is more on bar. My daughter walks up there and low and behold 1 tiny piece remaining. So we wait.....and we wait..... 20 minutes roll by before any pizza comes out and it's bread sticks. So my mom asked the same snooty girl as she comes by table to check on our pizzas or any pizzas for that matter. She spurts off, well we can only give them the orders, we can't make them hurry.... Now I think had her response been some thing along lines of, I'm not sure but I can check. Oh no, that's too much like real customer service. So as she continues to spat off to me because I told her girl I have worked all day and it shouldn't take this long to c a pizza. She then walks to next table nibbling something, I gesture with my hand to my ear that I can't hear what she is saying, and she just turns her back and walks off. So by then I am ticked. So when she comes back by, to finally bring us our first pizza n 20 minutes, I tell her I am sorry if I come off as rude but I was upset because she should have handledthe situations differently. And walking away was ultimate disrespect when someone is talking to u. She then starts to talk hateful again. I said r u serious? I apologize to u for getting angry because u r behaving rudely and u still do it. I never spoke to the manager, she has been just as rude to us in past so I knew it was useless. They run off the good, friendly, hard working folks n hire folks like that! SMH! Not saying they r all rude but those 2 definately need to go! Honestly don't think I will b back anytime soon. Hopefully David will c this and realize how bad sales have dropped from a year and even two years ago! Used to b so. many folks u had to wait on them to clean a table. Not anymore. Changes need to...
Read moreBuffet is no longer a buffet at White Hall location , you must order a pizza when you arrive ! Hope one of the employees thinks to tell you this. They did not let us know this even after asking were pizzas coming out ! This way you get one kind of pizza , if they make it back around to your table when they bring it out that is ! Employees start passing your pizza out to everyone . Might as well go somewhere and just order a pizza . Managers are not allowed to solve issues and there is no number on wall to call for satisfaction !!! Only a small no refunds sign over by the toy redemption counter . As you can see by the owner's responses to other complaints , she doesn't seem to really care or respond to all of the issues in the complaints with a very courteous attitude . I noticed how her business has declined on Friday's due to her methods and employees handling of situations . Visit the other Larry's locations they are mostly owned by original family of founders .One time it is referred to as a pizza parade then as a buffet by the owner , if you read her responses . If you want to order a pizza for " the parade " you get 2 pieces , then I guess you have to order another one to get 2 more pieces and then wait for them to cook it and so on and so on . Because while I was there 3 pizzas came out and a table of 8 people would get most of it , then the other 20 people in the room would get the rest and us NOTHING !!!!!! Server went the same way every time never making it to us ! Spoke to the manager about it because I had to be back at work and would like a refund for I had not even had a drink of my water nor a bite of food and was told there was nothing she could do . Got the owner's personal number and I get the same cookie cutter response . IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT SHE ONLY WANTS YOU TO EAT 4 PIECES FOR $12 PLUS TAX !!! YOU KEEP ON ABUSING YOUR CUSTOMERS AND WATCH YOUR BUSINESS CONTINUE TO DECLINE !!!!!.. If I wanted to build a buffet and spend $32 I might would have done that but I came at lunch time same unconcerned cookie cutter response ! Why don't you just get a gun .
Previous times , year or two ago , lots lots bigger crowds and pizzas coming out and a selection on the bar available . So keep my money and lose my business . I don't need a cookie cutter response to this update...
Read moreTerrible experience. Never again. Firstly, the online price for the dinner buffet was $8.99. Actual price, $18.99. We drove 30 minutes to get there so we decided to go ahead and pay. Only after paying, the (super rude) cashier let us know we could've bought 4 pizzas for the same price. He said it with a grin as if he had just pulled a fast one on us. I guess he kinda had. The pizza was pretty good when it first came out. Two of the three servers who made rounds and offered fresh pizza slices at the tables were not friendly at all. The first plates started in the table until the end of the meal. No pre-bussing. It definitely seemed that everyone working there were pretty unhappy about having and doing their jobs. All of the pizza at the buffet table was only lukewarm. No heat lamps even keeping it warm. The cheese and toppings were already congealed like hour old pizza that had been left out on the counter. At the salad bar, the cherry tomatoes were spoiled, mushy, and wrinkly. We politely(trying not to be rude, even though the experience had been terrible from the moment we arrived) informed the cashier about it in hopes of getting some fresh toms put out. No such luck. Just a short "m-kay" as if we were just some annoying strangers and then he walked away. Never changed them. We apologize for being such needy, fresh vegetable, hot food wanting customers. I've been in restaurant management most of my working life (about 25 years of restaurant/bar MGMT) and I know that the crew can have bad days and hate when people leave unwarranted bad reviews. I seldom have a bad enough experience to even take the time to write about it and share. This restaurant definitely warrants a bad review just to let others know not to waste there time and hard-earned money at this particular restaurant. There are far too many wonderful pizza places to go to. You don't have to endure the terrible attitudes of unhappy employees while trying to force yourself to choke down enough bad pizza to justify the not as advertised high price that...
