As one of the three front runners for our wedding cake, we chose Patti's Pasticceria due to her cake/icing combinations and reputation for beautiful cakes. Patti personally worked with us to design our cake and provided us with five (5) cupcake samples of her most popular combinations, which included one cupcake with what we were initially looking for - white cake with buttercream icing. We chose a three layer cake for service to 90 people, but had plenty to go around for our 100 guest reception. Everyone loved the design and delicious combination of white almond cake with European raspberry jelly/buttercream icing. The champagne rosettes on the bottom layer and the beautifully-done red rosettes between the middle and top layers really made for a classic design. Delivery to our reception was prompt and without issue, Patti's worked flawlessly with our venue to make sure that everything arrived and was set-up exactly as we'd requested. We highly recommend Patti and her staff for your wedding cake, or cakes for any special occasion! While you're at it, the pastries that she normally carries in her shop are quite good, too - the lemon blueberry scones are delicious!

I've been looking for a local bakery for awhile now. I live in adjacent town and we just didn't have anything. I tried a few in other towns, and while decent, weren't spectacular. Then I found Patti's. Baked goods are excellent! I am still only 3 visits in and trying new things, but so far, everything has me coming back for more! As an added bonus, the counter girls are very pleasant and patient as I try to decide which items I want. My favorite item so far has to be the inside out Reese peanut butter cake. The cake was very moist and the icing is not sickening sweet. I can't say anything bad about Patti's, except I wish they were in my town or I lived there so I could visit everyday. Other information you might want to know is there is limited parking, prices are very good, they have crafted beverages such as lattes, coffee and cappuccinos, along with bottled teas and water. Many times there is a line, but they have a ticket system, so just take a number and wait, trust me it's worth it!

Update: it’s been a little while since I had visit, thanking Summer for all her help today with helping me with my husband’s cake. Also, helping me with my coffee choice early this morning. Not only that she custom made my coffee with a cute little handmade heart with sprinkles. Missed this place. It’s a hit everytime. Go check them out. Employees are awesome. Space is so welcoming and cute. Parking in front and around the sides and back. Don’t forget to take your number. I love this place, always. It’s the perfect spot to grab a quick breakfast roll or pepperoni roll. Love the soups and pastries. They’re all so good. Every employee I ever encountered with there has been amazing. I really love Gina. I’ve had almost every single person in there I believe, and I just want to say thank you for the great service today. I had Ashley super nice and attentive, and when leaving, she prayed over me and I prayed over her. This place ♥️ Happy Saturday everyone go get your a thumbprint and a latte.

Update: I added a star because I appreciate the response from the owner. I will say when I went in it was packed, so I had to weave in and around people to even make it to the register. So signs related to order pick up/prepaid orders could have been obscured and/or I just missed it. The cupcakes were very good. Lots of compliments.

I got cupcakes for my son's birthday party.

Pros: The cupcakes were good and ordering was easy. I called left a message and a woman called me back later that day and took my order and told me the total. They offered to help carry my order out or use a cart, which was very nice.

Cons: First, I had never been to this bakery prior. They have a 4% charge extra if you use debit or credit. This is not disclosed anywhere I could find on their website (so if it is there at all, it's intentionally obscured) and the woman who I spoke with also did not disclose this. In and of itself this is not a problem, IF I KNEW AHEAD OF TIME. I would have brought cash. However I wasn't interested in paying 4% tax on my already $75 order of cupcakes for my son's birthday. But I didn't really have a choice when I was already there and it was the day of my son's party. Also important to note, the only place they display this additional cost (that I could find) is on a small piece of paper right next to register. So people only see it after they have already picked out their order and headed up the register to pay. This is intentional. These types of charges should be obvious from the start.

For comparison: the place I had my son's party had a policy of cash or check only, which was completely fine because they told me this ahead of time, so I was prepared.

Just a suggestion for the future: I would have appreciated a brief description of how it worked once I got there from the woman on the phone. I made a pre-order. Scheduled pick up at 10am. I went in, I saw they had a number to take system, but I thought that was for customers who needed to be served, aka : pick out their orders, not for pick up orders. So I went to the register and waited for the person who was already there to be done and asked for my pick up only to be told I had to take a number and wait. Which again, I had time to wait, so wasn't a huge deal, but it would have been nice if someone would have explained it to me over the phone so I wasn't wasting my time. Then I got hit with the 4% more than the price I was quoted at. It's just the principle of the matter.

I might be a stickler for these types of details because I also work in customer service so I work very hard to make sure that there are no surprises for the customers. Because it's very frustrating when something is new and you feel lost, lied to,...

EDIT: Taking service stars down a notch. I got the older lady again this morning and rude as can be. Asked her for a lid to my iced water and she proceeded to slam it down on to the dirty counter instead of putting on my water cup. She is making me want to avoid this place on mornings when she is here.

I’m a regular. Good coffee, lovely place to study. Usually enjoy great service too, but today I encountered the rudest baristas who wouldn’t even acknowledge my existence when I was following the instructions of a sign I saw two days ago (to proceed straight to the register for coffee.) I stood for about 5 minutes as the two baristas completed ignored me. When I finally asked the younger one if I was mistaken in coming up,, she explained that sign only applies some days when they have enough help and continued ignoring me. Two minutes later I finally desperately asked her if I could just have a black coffee and be on my way to which she begrudgingly agreed.

The older barista (gray hair and thick glasses) completely ignored my existence the entire time and even started ringing up another customer as I stood right in front of her. The least she could have done was look at me, open her mouth, ask me if I’d taken a number, and explain the conditionality of the coffee...

Patti's Pasticceria is White Oak's hidden gem of an Italian bakery. Everything is made from scratch. While mostly take out, there are tables and chairs if you wish to eat inside. Specializing in cakes, cannolis, cookies, and breakfast pastries they offer a vast assortment to choose from. Gluten free options come from Gluuteny bakery.

Soups are offered M-F using a family recipe. They also change daily as well. Day old soups are available to purchase from their freezer. Food is filling but not to heavy. The spinach feta cheese rolls are large enough to serve two and they go fairly quickly if you don't order them in advance. Pepperoni rolls and cheese are also a great choice.

Patti's offers a complete coffee barista as well as your traditional refrigerated beverages. In addition they specialize in catering and their focus is on wedding cakes, cookie tables, and cannolis. Cannolis are filled in house and your choices include chocolate, vanilla, or tiramisu.

Everything is reasonably priced and you can taste the homemade goodness that goes into making their products. I truly enjoyed my spinach feta cheese roll, chili soup of day, and a chocolate cream filled cannoli! Great customer service, good food and free onsite...
