So I wasn't too impressed with my visit to Subway this time around. to start with I decided to go through the drive-thru, once I got to the drive-through realize that there was not a regular speaker for a real person to talk to you and take your order. and actually, I'm okay with that. I honestly don't mind the computerized ordering systems. There are times when I'll go into McDonald's that has one and nobody's at the front counter ordering I will still choose to use the computer ordering system. of course there is one difference here between the McDonald's system and the subway system. That difference is the McDonald's system always has all of the menu items on it. so once I got to the screen and the item I wanted was not uploaded to the menu board yet. I went ahead and parked and went inside the building to order my food. now once I got in the building to order my food I was informed that they in fact we're out of the ciabatta bread so they could not make my sub sandwich. I'm a pretty adaptable guy so I simply ordered some of the ciabatta sliders that they had at the time and I would be okay with that. However in talking to the associate, she seemed to express that in fact they have a lot of issues with that menu board that ordering board outside and often times it doesn't work at all. So all in all the food was pretty good, I was hungry anyway, at $12 though for three sliders a bag of chips three cookies and a medium drink I don't know it just seems like still not getting what you were hoping to get that price is just a little higher than I would have liked to paid. But, certainly nobody twisted my arm and made me pay it I did get out of my car and walk in the building all by myself and I could have done the same when I heard they were out of the bread, only in reverse.
Sorry, but a quick and sad disclosure. This review is being dictated by my Android phone because I have fat fingers and a little keyboard and I'm not going to take the time to review the entire thing cuz it's way too long. So if there's any mistakes or incorrect information I apologize in advance. Thanks for reading, if you read to this point. Have...
Read moreI walked over from the Pilot this evening feeling like it would be more than just a regular visit and it was. The young man behind the counter, I want to say his name was Matthew, who made my sandwich was very personable. My order was perfectly made with care. While making it, he shared a story with me of a trucker whose truck caught fire and he stayed with him in the restaurant til his family came at 3 a.m. which was very kind of him to go above and beyond and do. Then the other associate, I believe her name was Christina shared some things and encouraged me as well even said she was going to pray for us. She also told us about her place of worship The Avenue Church in Morriston, TN where she says ALL are welcome and you can feel the spirit and God's love. As a trucker/traveler, we always want to know where we will be welcomed to fellowship and worship. It is a Blessing to meet such beautiful people on the road. Thank you both for a wonderful experience. I pray God continues to Bless and prosper you in all you do.❤ To the management: Good workers with good spirits are hard to find. I pray they are well appreciated because they...
Read moreI just left the restaurant. There was one lady working and one man in front of me. I have no issue waiting and I stayed respectful to the woman. She runs his card, gets a drink holder and does a cash drop NEVER washed her hands once. She starts making my sandwich. I tell her what I want and she starts to put my sides on my sandwich and goes wait I have to take care of my bread I say okay and let her get the bread. She gets two huge black mitts and slides them on top of the gloves she was touching my food with, gets out the bread and uses the same gloves to finish my sandwich. She then never even attempted to close my sandwich literally wrapped it up and said here. So by the time I get home to eat all the sides are spilled out. Utterly...
