TLDR:Dont think about it, just go. Get the beer cheese burger.

Let me start off by saying that I wish I could give this more stars. We'll start with the food, cause that's why you're here. I ordered the Cougar BBQ Beer Cheese Burger, it comes with a side of fries which I had them to load for an additional 99 cents. My wife had the Hickory Smoked Bacon cheeseburger and elected to get a loaded baked potato for her included side. This truly might have been the greatest thing I've ever eaten. It tastes exactly like you imagine it will, and so much more. The wife echoed this sentiment. I can't believe I haven't been here before, but I know I'll be back. The pricing was very reasonable for what you're getting, and they even have a nice gift shop with some very cool local items. The place was very well designed, extremely clean, and all precautions against covid were being taken (masks, distance etc.). All of the wait staff we're extremely friendly and proficient. This is my new favorite place and I can't wait to go back. Thanks so much to the Pizza Hutt across the road for having a closed dining area, we almost didn't go, and I'm sure...

Atmosphere is nice, clean and welcoming. It's a beautiful place. The server we had was amazing. The food is my only complaint.

The portions are huge so that's a big plus. The quality kinda sucked. I ordered the fried catfish. The catfish was good the breading was great. The fries were old and definitely cooked in old grease. The coleslaw is alright I know everyone is different on their slaw.

My friend ordered the Mac n cheese and it had the orange color to it that 100% looks like the microwave Mac n cheese you but at Walmart. She also found a very long blonde/white hair in her mashed potatoes.

My other friend ordered a burger and said it was great and had no complaints.

The seating was pretty bad. We were sat at a table in the middle of an aisle between booths. A couple beside us had a baby in a high chair in the aisle so I was unable to sit on that side of the table. I had to share a side with someone else and that made it pretty cramped.

Overall my experience was probably an off day. It was at 1:30pm on a Friday. I'm sure they have amazing food, and I'd be willing to try it again...

This is such a sad story of another great restaurant going down hill every time we visit. Me and my wife drive forty miles each way just to eat there, that is just how great the food was. Over twenty years we go there at least once a month but last month I tried the rib eye that used to be so tender and tasty it was to die for, seriously!!! But it was so tough and tasteless you could not cut it with the steak knife, it just would tear. They did give me my money back but no manager came out to ask me if I wanted another or to apologize, so when we left I went across the street to McDonald's and got a hamburger. We then went there on the sixteenth of April and I got the fried catfish meal which used to be made with a corn meal coating but this time they made it with a heavy batter like KFC original fried chicken. It wasn't that good and the next day I was very sick all day long. I would still like to give this place another chance but I think I'll find another...
