Today my wife Barbara Nunez and I decided we wanted to eat quick and simple. We chose the Wienerschnitzel in Whittier on Beverly Boulevard that we used to frequent before we had one in Pico Rivera.
We decided to use some digital coupons I had downloaded to my phone to make the visit even more attractive, money-wise.
It was a great decision on our part as we reached the door of Wienerschnitzel a young man came to open the door for us. I thought wow they have a doorman here who courteously opened the door for us.
He helped us order with our digital Phone coupons which was even better for discount on our food order. After we ordered we found a table and sat down and waited for them to call out order. They didn't call out our order, instead another young man brought our tray food to us at our table.
Wow this is really something, doorman and table service at Wienerschnitzel! doorman/cashier was Jessie, Nelson his supervisor provided the friendly tray service for us.
These young men are polite and gracious and serving us. After all that we decided to have dessert chew Chocolate Sundaes also with digital discounts. Those Sundaes were great!

However, my problem with this location is LENGTH OF TIME to fulfill an order + handing me THE WRONG ORDER.
Friday 3:30pm I was 3rd car in the drive-thru. I stated my order twice, "Large Bacon Ranch Chili Cheese Fries" to the confused employee thru the speaker. After 7 minutes I thought "That first car must have ordered for a party." NOPE! - one small bag handed to the driver and off they finally went!
It was 10 minutes when I got to the window + another 4-minute wait. When I was handed my bag, I repeated "Large Bacon Ranch Chili Cheese Fries, correct?" and 2 employees knodded their heads "Yes."
NOPE again! - I drove 3 miles home with the wrong order! Weighing my options, I decided to: (1) Write this review to warn others, and (2) Never give my business to this location again.
It's been said "Thank those who show up for work today" in these shaky post-pandemic times. I say paying these employees $15+ and hour to take this long for a wrong order, NO; I wouldn't even thank an employee for a timely correct order. I see that thereās only 1 cashier working both the inside and drive thru. On top of that I waited at the order box for 5 minutes (having someone behind me pull out and drive away) for the cashier to just say a brief welcome not even asking what I wanted. I gave her my order and she asked size but then never asked for my drink option. I then sit at the window another 5 minutes before she even acknowledged me and still proceeded to go back to the dining cash register and then take another order from the drive thru. When I finall see her bagging my food up she brings it to the window and then put it down to go and take more orders. She finally asked for my payment. And then took all my food out the bag to put it in a different (same size) bag. I understand running all that by yourself is stressful, but to have someone so slow and appeared to be inexperienced running a FAST FOOD establishment was ridiculous. Either hire more people or donāt let someone like that run the ship...
