Sunny Donuts — Restaurant in Whittier

This place holds a special place in my heart. I have been going there almost every morning since I was like 8 years old, with my parents (since 1992)!! They used to be on the corner (were the Stinkin Crawfish is now), before the strip mall caught fire one night, and Sunny Donuts burned down. Years later, when the finally rebuilt that strip mall, they came back!!! They are very faithful and dedicated to serving North Whittier (90601)!!

Besides all that, they really do have the best donuts I have ever, personally, tasted, 100%!!!! I’m not just saying that because I’m partial either lol…it’s a family run business to this day and they couldn’t be any nicer, sweeter, people!! Would travel out if my way to give them my business!!

I highly recommend their Chocolate Old Fashioned donuts!! But they also have a lot of pretty, specialty donuts!! Give them a try!! Totally...

I love sunny donuts! I don't know what all these people are talking about, I've lived up the street for 18 yrs & their donuts are always so fresh & light, whether it's first thing in the morning or 5 mins before closing. The family that owns it is so nice. I'm happy a small family owned business like theirs has been here for as long as I have & honestly if 85¢ for a twist or bar donut is a lot, I'm still more than happy to give them...

The donuts have really suffered in the past year, we used to get request from friends and family to pick up donuts when we visited. That occurs no more, last weekend when I picked up a dozen mixed donuts to take to a family breakfast but the donuts were very disappointing. I hope that they can bring it back to...
