Joey's — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

So I love Mexican food and I have been wanting to give Joey's a try to see how tasty the food is. Well I ordered my food by phone because reading reviews about having to wait forever in line at the drive thru so I placed my order by phone. I ordered two burritos. I also asked for red and green sauce only to get red. Well very disappointed with the burritos that had no flavor and very bland and I ended up trashing them. Very disappointed!! The red sauce didn't help either. Never again will I spend any money at this location. Waste of money and time!!! Just warning people that the food quality isn't any good. Should've went to guiterrez instead. I was debating to try Joey's against guiterrez but I wanted to see how Joey's was just so I could go to another location to eat good Mexican food and not always having to depend on Guiterrez but looks like I only have one place to pickup easy drive thru food when not wanting to walk in and eat....Don't waste your money cause I...

My husband heard that you could get a delicious breakfast burrito here from the repair man that works on the property we rent. I'm on my hometime from driving and we went through the drive through to get breakfast. We had to wait a little while in the line, but it was worth it. I believe the tortillas were made from scratch. They taste like they were. Everything was fresh and delicious. I ordered a sausage, egg, cheese, and potato burrito. We don't live too far away but I had to put it in the microwave when we got home. That was the only bad thing, but I didn't mind having to do that, really. The lunch menu looks great too. Next time I go there, I will order the street tacos. I have been ordering from Joey's for several years, every week in fact. But I am so frustrated that people are still pulling up to the drive thru window to PLACE AN ORDER, completely oblivious to the fact that they are holding up the line. I placed an order today, when I got there, there were 3 cars ahead of me. After waiting over 15 minutes, there was still one car ahead of me. I'm not going to wait over 15 minutes to pick up an order I called in -- like I was supposed to!!! Excellent food, and wonderful employees, but I sure wish they would have people pull around to the back of the line if they are ordering at the window. This is not the first time this has happened.
