Wendy's — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

Well, well, well... in the wee hours of late nights, your stomach might start talking, and the choices for food late at night in Wichita County are slim pickings. The Wendy's restaurant that's attached to Flying Js happens to be one of those options. They are open 24 hours a day. They are one of the few restaurants that stay open 24/7. Now I do have to warn you... on the weekends, especially Friday and Saturday nights ,after the bars and clubs have closed, expect to see a long line at their drive thru. But luckily for you, you can park, exit your vehicle and walk inside the lobby by crossing flying js on the right hand side passed the bathrooms. This particular Wendy's doesn't have a bathroom period but flying js offers bathrooms and showers. Their lobby is open 24/7 as well. In my personal opinion, Wendy's food lacks pizzazz late at night. I think they taste better, are assembled and presented better around lunch and dinner. For me, it's just not a restaurant that I crave or have to have. Sometimes I pick Wendy's bc the line at Whataburger is too long and Taco Bell has already closed down for the night. But late at night their food is edible and filling. Don't expect a warm greeting or acknowledgement as you walk in. Staff members are not hospitable, welcoming, nor do they go out of their way to ensure you had a good experience. I would check ur food and bag to ensure you got everything you ordered and assembled to ur standards. About 4 years ago 2019 summer heat almost took my life. I'm walking down the frontage road and I started to fade to black things got real quiet and I couldn't talk right. Heat stroke was setting in my brain. I am so Lucky that a kind young lady and her two kids saw me wandering aimlessly on the street and she recognized my symptoms and rushed me to Wendy's where they poured ice cold water on my back and neck and called an ambulance to fix my stroke I was having and saved me from major brain damage. I only suffered partial paralysis with minor damages to my spine. The heat was brutal that year. I am much better now and would like to thank her for the blessings she. Gave me and my family. I am disabled from the incident but I am alive thanks to her quick thinking. God bless you for what you did for me and I have a special gift I've been saving up to present to you for your heroism. Today, I had the privilege to witness something that makes me proud to be an American. A customer corrected an employee in regards to the improper way in which she handed him his change. He was polite and very clearly explained why it was improper. Before the customer could finish his conversation with the employee, he was interrupted by another customer, who complained that the employee did nothing wrong and what was the customer's problem. Instead of backing down, the interrupted customer stood his ground and attempted to explain the reason why he was correcting the employee. This explanation fell on deaf ears and the conversation got heated. I am proud to see another person not willing to accept poor customer service as the norm and attempt to educate those who...
