Ben's Big Bowl — Restaurant in Wichita

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ben’s Big Bowl and it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere that perfectly complements the vibrant flavors of Vietnamese cuisine.

The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The pho was rich and aromatic, with perfectly cooked noodles and tender beef that just melted in my mouth. The fresh egg rolls were a delightful appetizer, bursting with flavor.

What truly impressed me was the attention to detail in every dish. It’s clear that the chefs are passionate about their craft, using fresh ingredients that make each bite a burst of flavor. The service was also outstanding—friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

If you’re in the mood for authentic Vietnamese food, I highly recommend Ben’s Big Bowl. I can’t wait to return and try...

I’m from California so my standards are pretty high for pho.

I ordered two pho dat biet to go. The cost was almost $20 a bowl (with 3% charge and a $1 to go fee per bowl). This is quite steep for Wichita, especially with the pho being 70% broth, 15% noodles and 5% meat.

They used very cheap cuts of meat including super thin dry slices of brisket and 4 pieces of cheap cuts of round eye and 1 meatball cut into three pieces.

Broth tase was below average, it was passable but not very good. Absolutely no aroma of the pho spices.

They were so skimpy on the veggies.

Like come on you are in Wichita why you charging California prices? It’s the 5 star reviews that get me, like do you not know what good pho is?
