Last week my family went to the drive-through at 10:00 p.m. after a concert. Two ordered ice cream and two ordered burger, fries and chicken sandwich. We waited in line to order and while we waited two cars pulled out of line tired of waiting to order. We placed our order, got to the window, paid. The two ice cream products were given at that time. We were told to pull forward and they would make our food hot. After waiting 20 minutes, I went inside fuming mad and asked where our food was. There were EIGHT teenagers standing around doing nothing. There was a retail customer waiting to pay and a man wanting to order ice cream. No one was helping either one of them with eight teenagers there. First, the cook said he gave our order to someone else. I asked for a refund. They wanted my receipt so I went to car to get it from my daughter. She said they never gave her a receipt. So I went back in and said we didn't get a receipt. The cook had gotten out 4 buns on the counter. I guess he was going to try to make our order. Then all of a sudden the teenager with the headset said she had the receipt. She never gave it to the cook to start our order so he couldn't have given our order to someone else. That was a lie. Then the headset teenager says, "Have you never made a mistake?" Unbelievable response for a consumer-oriented business. I asked the manager's name. She wouldn't tell me. I asked for the day manager's name. She told me to call the next day and ask. After much back and forth, I did get a refund for the food minus the ice cream we got. The cook threw the buns away. He hadn't started any food because he couldn't have known the order. The next day I called the 800 number for the corporate office, explained I wanted to talk to someone. All I got was a recording. No one from corporate EVER called me back. Unbelievable lack of customer service from the bottom up to corporate. I always had bought my milk and other produce and items from Braum's. I guess the Braums family doesn't care about how their stores are run, employees standing around and how dirty...
Read moreThe customer service here has seriously tanked in the past few years. They are often very rude and impatient when taking orders. You will be in the middle of trying to order your meal, and they will cut you off the second you even take a breath to pause, only to loudly say "WHAT ELSE" in a very impolite tone. This might seem like a minor gripe, but combined with the other downfalls of this restaurant (which you can see in similar reviews), it makes for a rather dismal customer service experience.
I don't know who is training these people, but it is rather hard to describe the rudeness over text. This "WHAT ELSE" phrase isn't just coming from one employee, but multiple employees, whether young, old, male, or female. It seems like a store-wide training issue. It might seem like a minor complaint, but it is grating when they say "WHAT ELSE!!!" multiple times for just a small order. You would have to go there and receive the full experience yourself to truly understand how annoying it can be, Lol.
For reference, no other Braum's stores nearby have this problem or have such rude employees. We often go out of our way to go to DIFFERENT Braum's stores, just to avoid this one. It has gotten worse over the years. Very sad to see.

I waited 20 minutes to even take my order. The guy told me that he would be right with me in the drive thru. I am a very patient person but this is a little long. No big deal I can wait. There were only 2 cars in front of me so I didn’t think it would be that long. No I was wrong. I waited 20 minutes to just say what I wanted to the drive thru microphone.
By the time I got to the window the other cars were long gone. I waited again for a long while until they took my card. Just thought they must be understaffed. I get it or so I thought. No I saw them after taking my card, start talking and talking.
After a while the guy came back to tell me that they were out of frozen yogurt. At this point I’ve waited in line too long to care about just leaving completely so I thought if I ordered another malt it would be quick. Nope wrong again…
