I went to Chili's west with my sister for a celebration lunch after her sonogram on Tuesday October 28,2014 . All she could talk about was chili's potato soup so she ordered endless soup from their lunch combo and I had one of their 7$ combo lunches with soup. I didn't care for the flat bread chicken but this was no fault of theirs so I didn't eat it. My sister however was treated poorly. I can only guess that after we arrived and ordered our server was cut from her shift, I only guess this because as she stood a booth away from us to complain about her job, manager, and other servers we could hear most of the nasty things she said. So after she initially took our order and food was received the only time we saw her the 22 minutes we sat there waiting for a soup refill, she never came back to the table. I tried several times to flag her down and ask her for more soup and a refill on our drinks but she continued to stand at the back of the restaurant and talk with co workers. When I did finally flag her down by waving my arms like a madwoman my sister asked if she would please refill our drinks, chips, salsa, etc. 2 minutes later our waitress returned with a chips to go bag handed it to my sister and set our final bill on the table. I should note that it was not busy from the time we arrived to the time we left, which does not matter anyways because you shouldn't have treated anyone like that. Upon walking to our vehicle the woman who was our server began cleaning our table with her blonde server friend she had been chatting with and when we got in eye shot of these two woman they began laughing and pointing their fingers at my sister and I! Instead of going in and talking to the employees we sat in our car as not be further embarrassed/ harassed by these employees and I called the store manager from my cell phone. I explained verbatim the above situation to the manager while sitting in their parking lot and all she could say was well I am sorry mam there was a mis-communication with my server and I will send you some free food coupons. I inquired as to why it's acceptable for her employees to laugh at customers and reiterated that there wasn't a mis communication just VERY P[POOR customer service and I asked for the general managers number several times and was told that they do not have access to that number. I allowed this woman to get my address name and phone number and I still have not received anything from her. I will never Eat at this...
Read moreUpdate on this situation, after being told to contact the email below ASAP, we in fact did just that. Let’s just say all of my information was listed for contact. Did they contact us? No! Let me just say this, all Chilis operations aren’t the same. This is our son’s favorite place to come for the Mac and Cheese and ribs. However on 8/27/25 we went to the location on Greenwich Road in Wichita. Let me tell you something.. the server was very attentive, he was very polite and welcoming. Our appetizer came out in less than 3 minutes, we ordered our food and it took less than 10 minutes to receive! We were welcomed by every employee who walked by our table, not just the sever. The manager was very friendly and polite. We had no issues at all! The two managers whom discriminated against us at the West Central location, shame on you and there is someone higher than you whom saw you and know exactly what you did! All I will say is that our family forgives you! We hope the most high will have mercy on you for your discriminating behavior. We didn’t deserve to be treated that way. Shame on the person who replied to us and didn’t even try to make matters right!
THANK YOU CHILLIS ON GREENWICH ROAD IN WICHITA FOR YOUR OUTSTANDING JOB!
Discriminating at its best on this night. We waited 37 minutes to get old and cold food. Our server Caiden told us we had to wait a long time because we asked for no salt fries. Both managers had no kind of social skills whatsoever. We left here feeling discriminated against because of our race. We were the only Black people in here. We ordered tenders and ribs and it took that long. We watched people come in after us and got their meals right away with a bigger party than us. When we spoke to the manager she was very dismissive and not accommodating. Both managers walked the floor several times and they saw us with an empty table and knew we sat there for a long time. We refused to accept the food and a remake because we shouldn’t have had to wait that long or be treated that way. This happened on Sunday 8/24/25, we are truly disappointed with how this went. You guys wasted our time, when we could have been anywhere else enjoying a meal where people serve everyone and take care of their guest. Normally when we visit here we don’t encounter this kind of issue. This is not acceptable and you should be ashamed of how you let people like this operate a business where they can’t be fair and just with...
Read moreEvery staff member I interacted with looked very dead inside and didn't care to be there. I ordered the pick 2 platter with brisket quesadillas and a half rack of ribs, and I ordered a cheesy chicken pasta for my 3yo. The sauce on my daughter's food was alfredo (which she is allergic to). The menu did not state it was an alfredo sauce, just a "cheesy sauce." When I apologized for having to bring it up to the waiter and asked if I could switch it with another child's entree, he seemed very annoyed and said he's gonna grab the manager. She came out, handled it well, and we got the Mac and cheese with a piece of chicken on top. All of our food was room temp when we got it minus the Mac and cheese noodles, but the chicken on top was room temp as well. The food was mediocre at best(meats dry and extra chewy, sauces extra thick like they'd been sitting out, half of the fries burnt and way over salted) The ribs were very fatty and there wasn't much actual meat on them. I also had to ask for every refill, even when our cup was empty and placed on the edge of the table, easy to reach. I just dealt with it because I felt awful enough for having to bring up the remake for my daughter's allergy, and my anxiety was through the roof as it was, not to mention we were starving. But then when I saw that, they charged $7 for the 6oz chicken put on top of the kids' Mac and cheese, then I was very annoyed. That's more than a dollar per ounce for dried out hard to chew chicken... I got one large Entree, a kids Entree, and one soda for us to share....$45 no appetizer, dessert, or seperate drink for the child. For that price, it should have been WAY better, and I'm extremely disappointed and apprehensive to try to give them a second chance. I also called after I got in my car to see if the price on the chicken was correct. The girl picked up and said, "Chili's West, give me a minute." Also, in an annoyed, I don't want to be here tone. I waited on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. I've worked food service for 10 plus years, and I know that Friday night get stupid busy and extemely stressful, but nobody seemed to be running around putting in work or some sort of body language that showed they were trying to make...
