I was fired from jerrys bar because one of the bartenders over charged me for a drink so in return I charged the customer not knowing the prices were different. The owners Jeff White & Denise White confronted me with yelling and cussing at me calling me a thief. (The prices were often changed) So I walked out. They didn't investigate the situation at all. This happened a day after I was praised for having 5 stars on a yelp review. I worked their approximately 5 or 6 months and never got a complaint from a customer. Never. After leaving and not wanting to start any conflicts i start getting calls from customers telling me that the staff was telling customers that I was a thief. Not sure why this was started but 2 weeks prior to this happening I walked in on Jeff the owner with white substances on his desk n nose. I didn't say anything and walked out. But to run my name through the mud when I was a hard worker and did everything for there customers was uncalled for. I've never dealt with such drama in my life. You're talking about a dollar overring & I was attacked! It's not fair but I'm not going to stand for the lies anymore...I need this out so others can come forward to and to prevent this from happening to others. I really believe that this was a set up from Jeff (the owner). You shouldn't feel scared to work for someone & I have reached out to other employees & have heard the same thing from them. Jeff has even gone as far as hitting a employee. This isn't right. Anyone that knows me knows I'm not a bad person or a thief. I had recently got a gopro (small camera) & I have footage of everyone that works there getting drunk even the owners...I've already sent the footage to the news crew & ABC! Be...
Read moreBar-goers BEWARE!! We went there tonight to have a night out. We ate........food was so so. The drinks were half price. I had the waitress run me a tab. The place was basically dead and our waitress seemed to care less and less about us. We sat there for 30 minutes with no interaction and not even able to get her attention . She was too busy sitting with friends having a drink of her own. So, I called the bar. When she answered I told her we were sitting by the dance floor and were ready to tab out. When she brought my tab it was obviously over charged. She said she had basically billed us for 6 drinks at 3.50 which was really 12 since they were half price. I informed her we only had a total of 10 because we keep the drink straws in order to keep track ourselves. Then she tried to convince us that she did not bring out a straw when we ordered one of the rounds. A bold-faced lie!! My lady friend only drinks her drinks through a straw. She finally agreed and gave us $3.50 back in cash. After she left the table I realized she had actually charged us for 14 drinks. I had to then go up to the bar and get the other $3.50 she owed us. Makes me wonder how many of these tricks she turns a night. On a busy night I probably would have bought the "Oh, I made a mistake." But tonight, I can't help but think this was calculated. ...
Read moreLet's see... the music is way to loud for the space, we had to flag down a waitress when we did there wasn't a drink menu, after we ordered drinks she asked if we wanted something to eat, responded "No, thanks." to which she replied "Going to get drunk and go someplace else to eat huh?" We did order food which was better than expected, expectations were low at this point, when the waitress came back to ask if we needed another drink she started to take our plates, that still had food on them, without ever asking if we were done. When the 'rock band' started up, in order to have a conversation, we had to step out to the patio but after waiting several minutes couldn't find our waitress to tell her we were stepping out (she had a credit card for a tab) At one point, the waitress came to the patio door, spied us,rolled her eyes, walked over to us and with a plastered smile proceeded to ask us if we were finished because people were leaning on our table and she wasn't sure. This is a great place to go if you wanna get hammered and don't care about where you're doing it. For anyone who wants what they pay for... go...
