Sugar Llamas West — Restaurant in Wichita

I had one of the worst experiences at Sugar Llamas this past week, and it was all due to the manager's appalling attitude. From the moment I walked in, I could sense tension in the air. The manager, who was supposed to be leading by example, was instead barking orders at the employees in a condescending and rude manner. She seemed to have no respect for her staff, constantly belittling them in front of customers.

At one point, she loudly reprimanded an employee for a minor mistake, making the poor worker visibly upset. It was incredibly uncomfortable to witness. The manager's tone was harsh and unprofessional, completely lacking in basic human decency. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing business.

Not only did this create a negative atmosphere, but it also made me question the overall management and values of the establishment. If the manager treats her employees this way in front of customers, I can't imagine how much worse it might be behind the scenes. It's disheartening to see such a toxic work environment.

I won't be returning to Sugar Llamas, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well. No one should have to endure such mistreatment, whether they are employees or customers. This place needs serious improvement in management and...

The people working there were super friendly and helpful and made a first time walk-in very comfortable.

There was a neat variety of mini donuts flavors and you can get something simple or one of the creative combinations. The in-store menu was quite different from the online one, but it sounds like they were in the process of updating it.

The mini donuts were made fresh right there and were incredibly soft and just the right warmth. The frosting and flavors were nice and even. The cinnamon roll flavor was incredible! The prices for them are pretty good for the freshness and quality.

The coffees seem reasonably priced but the regular drinks seemed just a few cents high. They seem to have a small but fun variety of ice cream flavors, however when I was there in the early morning and it doesn't look like it's probably not a morning thing.

They have some merch and a cute llama corner for social media posting!

For those with auditory sensitivity - the entrance bell is electronic...

OMG!! So worth the drive across town. My wife had coffee with a friend and they wanted to go here since it’s “new”. It was so good my wife grabbed a dozen donuts and ran them to my office (French toast), not gonna lie, my assistant and myself almost inhaled them (great with coffee)!

Kids were out of school today for parent teacher conferences, so as soon as we wrapped up those up, we grabbed the kids and headed west. Today we got the blueberry, cinnamon roll, fruity, pebbles, Sopaipilla, and cherry bomb flavors! 😋😋😋 All amazing!

We got to talk to the owner, very sweet lady, the 2 staff members answered all of our questions before ordering. Great service.

They were so good we ordered 100 for our son to take to movie night at his school tonight to share with his friends.
