Ambiance is OK. It’s kind of loud sometimes and is more of a fast-food kind of feel than a coffee shop. If you’re looking for a place to go study or read there are more quiet study-friendly places with a more subtle ambiance. If you’re looking for a place to go socialize it’s ok for that. They do have outside seating but it’s right next to 21st street, which stays pretty busy, so it’s not peaceful there either.
Pastries: The pastries were great when I went first thing in the morning. Later in the day they’re OK.
My husband wasn’t impressed at all and said he would rather have Dillon’s chocolate croissant; that at least they put more chocolate inside.
I got the croissant donut today and it was dough-ey instead of flakey like a croissant is supposed to be.
Coffee: We stopped in for coffee this afternoon. He got a cappuccino and I got a caramel macchiato. Both were pretty gross. They both tasted like watered down coffee. No coffee flavor hardly at all. Not a good balance of flavors, especially when paired with the pastries. I am not one to leave coffee on the table, EVER, and I left about 3/4 of my macchiato there. It wasn’t worth the calories to me. It just had no flavor and was all sugar. His cappuccino barely tasted like coffee at all. Not like what we are used to when we visit other coffee shops in town where there’s always that nice, bittery flavor in the cappuccino to offset the sweet in the pastry. For the price we were both pretty disappointed.
Price: it’s spendy. We got 3 pastries and two coffee drinks and the total (with a 15% tip at the register) was about $27. We could eat an entire meal out for that.
Having said all of that it is very obvious they use superior ingredients. And if our cappuccino had actually tasted like cappuccino instead of watered down coffee… and there had been a good balance of flavors (especially for the price) we would have given a higher rating.
All in all I would say if you can get there in the morning and beat the crowd it’s worth it for the fresh pastry.

I want to say that for all the good things about this place in this review, the pastries really are bland and lack flavor for the most part in almost everything I ordered (And I ordered a LOT). It wasn't just me because I ordered it for everyone at my office and we all came to the conclusion that it was just lacking something.
There is a similar place that is in Overland Park, KS called Tour de Jours which absolutely blows this place out of the water and matches the same concept.
This place is a national franchise with its first location here in Wichita.
It's an extremely clean environment with a lot of open space for you to browse and sit with friends to enjoy some really pretty pastries. The deserts practically market themselves.
If you're looking for a spot to make your social media stories blow up with "Where is this at?".... This is the place.
The price is kind of what you would expect for an artisan bakery with great service.
Expect to spend about $10-$15 per person.
Side Note for the Staff: The name of the person who helped us out on the floor was "G." He was extremely helpful, and I really appreciated his...

They have one little drink station and it will take a while. It is better off having them making it while you get pastries than having to wait at the counter and block up the line.
Second thing, walk through the doors, and turn left. There will be tongs and either a tray or box. Grab what you need and start plucking pastries. Everything in that store is a tasty slam dunk and all you have to do is figure out what you want. Anything involving cream is gonna be good, that's a given. Mochi donuts are a fun little treat as well, and are chewy. As well there are little mini cheesecakes in the fridge so if you want a quick snack, you just dip in and grab one and be on your way.
At the front counter there are cakes, cake slices, and sandwiches up for grabs if you are fast enough. Be sure to go in and try everything...
