The food was not the level of authenticity or quality I expected. I ordered them al pastor taco plate with rice and beans, with a side order of chips and salsa. They didn’t tell me they do not have sides of salsa, only tiny cups. I wasn’t expecting pace chunky style salsa, just a traditional authentic style thin salsa in a cup. I was charged 3 dollars for just chips. The “al pastor” was more like a fajita style cut and it was so indistinguishable I thought it was beef. Instead of corn tortillas I got one large, burrito size flour tortilla. No pico. But I did get guac. Beans were fine, the rice was kinda strange, long grain and not traditional. Nothing about the plate resembled “al pastor” style. This seemed like a quality over quality thing with the serving size being generous. The food was so unrecognizable that I thought I was given the wrong order and called to inquire. The only positive aspect of the experience was the customer service on the back end. They explained to me how their restaurant differs from others and immediately offered me a full refund. I returned the food and they inspected it and told me it was their “al pastor” was different from other places, which is very true. They were very kind and accommodating about the entire situation. I might try them again in the district future, but I will not be ordering the...
Read morei've gone to this same exact location for years I've gone long enough to see all of the different staff over the years back When it was the same older Hispanic lady working all different hours of the day my orders are consistently made wrong Second to the last time I went there I got sick and was throwing up after eating a burrito
I went today and my food was cold when it was handed to me and it was made wrong and when I went back to have it remade they added what was missing in the same already cold burrito and did not make Make a new one
Called and asked how I can speak to a manager and was told I have to call at 12 in the morning when they are going to be there and they don't have a separate phone number I can call
completely ridiculous at this point how inconsistent the quality of the food and the quality of the people literally just taking orders and making burritos has gotten
Would not recommend this location at all and it's unfortunate because when things are done right it's actually pretty spot on and pretty damn good
this location needs to close or have new management and new cooks and new cashiers or something because I literally can't go here anymore because I can't afford to keep wasting money to have stuff made and remade the wrong way anymore
completely...
Read moreAnd so it begins...Have been ordering food from here for past 8 months at least once or twice a week. Saw the long drive thru lines and figured something good must be going on. And it was...delicious Mexican food, fast, friendly service, generous portions, reasonable prices (Will circle back to the prices). Fast forward to today, 08/06/23. Online drive thru order but asked to come inside when I arrived because the order was not ready (4 burritos and an arrival at the precise time it said online that tge order would be ready. On the way inside, noticed on the menu board that the burrito prices were $2 cheaper per burrito than what I pre-paid online. Noticed the same thing on the menu board inside. When I asked about the price difference and mentioned how much the website said that I was "saving", I was told, "...yeah that's a lie. It is cheaper to come here, inside to order." All 4 burritos had issues so for the sake of time I'll desribe the best ( ordered 2 Wichitas, 1 Fish, and 1 Coyote)...the Coyote that made it home with me was full of rice, beans, and potatoes save for 3 small pieces of chewy, unedible, beef fat. And so it begins...for whatever reason, a good thing gone really,...
