I visited this establishment twice because I believe in second chances. My 1st impression of this place was it did look nice on the inside and the staff seemed to be pleasant but that all changed after ordering food from their menu. My first visit? I had ordered a hamburger and french fries not like it was a fancy gourmet food item or anything. A simple all American dinner so I thought! I ordered my hamburger medium well. My hamburger and fries were served BURNT!! I personally would not have served the food and asked them to remake it. I ended up asking for the manager because I wasn't going to pay for burnt food! They took my plate back to remake the order and this time? It came back near raw not medium well (there was blood running out of the burger). At that point? It was almost an hour so I just ate the french fries cause I was hungry. The manager did come and check on me and I told them this time the hamburger was near raw and I wasn't going to eat it. They did not remove the hamburger from my total so I was a little upset about that! I was more than willing to pay for the french fries and soda I ordered cause I did consume that. I assumed that they just had employees that didn't really care that night and decided that I'd give them a second chance. The second time I visited the establishment? I brought my Father with me and a friend. I ordered crab cakes to try something new. About 30 minutes after I consumed the crab cakes? I ended up excusing myself because I started to feel very nauseated. Not too long after that? Diarrhea. We had to cut the night short cause I was not well at all. I went to the emergency room that evening and was diagnosed with food poisoning!! A perfect example that you can't judge a book by its cover! Just because it looked nice on the inside? Doesn't mean it's nice behind closed doors! I seen other reviews that they had seen roaches. I wished I had read the reviews before I ate there!! I will never return to this establishment!!

*Unless you're a Doctor? I wouldn't recommend posting anything from Google. Neurotoxin food poisoning can take an hour or less and people with a sensitive stomach as mine? Sooner. I had not had ANYTHING TO EAT ALL DAY but from your establishment. Being proud of your establishment is great but that DOES NOT by any means mean that you're establishment is perfect!! Anyone can pass an expectation especially if they're given notice! I just mearly posted my experience and it wasn't good AT ALL!!

Besides? Not everyone leaves a review. So? Not having experiences from anyone else that you know of is more like it. Sorry. But that's how I feel.

I'm glad that not everyone gets sick there and I'm glad some people like your food. That's great! Just not for me! I...

More than likely not going back. I thought this was an upscale place but I wasn't impressed and pretty much disappointed.

The only thing that I can see that is upscale were the prices.

The management should be replaced or retrained. We went for dinner and overall, the restaurant wasn't prepared for dinner guests.

We were taken to a booth and the menus and table top stuck together. Menus needed cleaned and so did the table top. The hostess flicked a crumb from the bench as we were seated. There were several nasty crumbs between the bench seat and wall that was an indication that it hasn't been cleaned or vaccumed for months. The floors had crumbs over it too. We sat two booths from the door. So in that short area we walked over crumbs. We even came what I thought was early for dinner. Two hours later and I would expect a few crumbs.

The cloth napkins were either stained or not cleaned or sanitized properly. The plates were dirty (2 out of 3).

My kids kept commenting about how or why the waitresses were wearing shorts.

The restrooms seemed clean but were out of hand towels for drying our clean hands. Back to being prepared for dinner service.

The food was okay but overpriced by about 25% for the quality and value that you got. The beer was good. I bought one local beer. It came in a can and I poured it myself into the glass (That was clean) and it cost only $2.50 so that was a plus. About the only plus to our experience.

The other plus was the beer cheese dip. That was really good.

The kitchen couldn't produce our appetizers before the salad or all at once. Waitress did apologize for that, twice.

Clean your restaurant. Clean the menus. Dress professional. Act professional. (The act professional is the waitress flirting with two other girls at another table who were obviously together then hugging them as they teased and groped each other out the door. The waitress just hugged but the other two teased and groped each other. Probably not meant to be seen but it was.)

Bottom line... if I'm paying $65 for good food and good service in what is supposed to be an upscale and classy place but what I get is Denny's type food and service then I am not happy.

If a manager would have stopped by my table then I would have shared everything with him. Otherwise, I will go through the whole service and post my brutality...

Warning to those looking for a good happy hour! Been here before and had much better experiences than this time. Started off by trying to find a nice place to sit on the patio for happy hour, but quickly turned around after being assaulted with cigarette smoke from both parts of their patio. It’s a real shame that The Hill hasn’t joined the 21st century and given regular people a nice area to enjoy outside. When we changed our minds about sitting out in the smoke, it seemed like a major inconvenience to the host, and we were taken to the table nearest to the kitchen (possibly out of spite). When we got them, Happy hour drinks were very poorly made (all alcohol and no flavor to the cocktails at all). Food wasn’t much better. Mozzarella sticks were fine, but the marinara sauce had a distinctly metallic flavor that was unbearable to eat. The beer cheese and pretzels were the only salvageable part of the experience. My wife and I had planned on eating dinner here too at first, but we changed that plan shortly after things went so poorly. Our service through the whole experience was pretty poor as well. We were rarely checked on and almost seemed to bother our waitress by not ordering dinner. We’ll be going elsewhere and definitely not advising friends to go here...

We haven't been here in years but decided to stop in to meet up with friends and watch the Cowboys game. The service was great but the food was just okay. I didn't hate it but I won't pick the items I got again when we come into town. Items we ordered: spinach & artichoke dip / mozz sticks The service is what got me to choose 4 stars instead of 3. We were seated in a big booth and until we got up to leave, we didn't realize we were the only people left (10ish minutes before closing time). The server never made us feel rushed which was so appreciated since we were catching up with friends & family. The great service and amount of TVs would get me to come back the next time I visit Wichita and need somewhere to eat and watch a game!

Ordered the "smoked" Gouda Mac-and-cheese. I was not a fan but perhaps this was a one-off issue however various aspects of the dish including the add-ons were just overall lacking including the smokey flavor which I was expecting more of. I also ordered the fried pickles which were pretty good had it not been for the "roasted garlic ranch" sauce which had absolutely no hint of garlic and was watered down to the point that it might have well as been ranch water. Did I miss something? PLEASE don't water down your dip sauce...having a good dip sauce really makes the difference for the food that uses it. Doing so is red flag that makes me think profits are more important than quality. Be better than this!

They have a menu that's so long it reads like a Russian novel. Not a bad thing. We were 4 and each had a different dish: pear and gorgonzola salad, Greek salad, Shrimp Carbonara and Fish Street Tacos. Each of us were happy with our choice and shared the deliciousness. They have an extensive on tap line-up. Prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. Our waitress never stopped moving but miraculously was available when needed. We are moving into this neighborhood and all of us are excited about returning for another dinner experience.
