Neighborhood Pizza & Pasta House — Restaurant in Wilbraham

I normally only review a place when I have a down right terrible experience, but I have had such a good experience here over and over. They are honest! I just wanted the actual meal, no Soup and no salad, and I put in the notes, no soup or salad. The cook came out, and said next time you just want the main course you can get it cheaper by selecting this on the menu. He gave me extra food since I did not want the soup or salad. That honesty, goes a long way is this world. I have battled cancer and I’ve seen the bad in the world. It’s nice to see someone honest! I normally get two meals out of their SMALL size pasta dishes! Their pizzas are also a nice thin crust and just so easy to eat! And the cashiers are pretty friendly as well! It’s an older facility, but you can tell it’s CLEAN!

The only thing, is if I could suggest angel hair, I would love if they would keep some angel...

Worst experience ever! I ordered a calzone and it was not cooked all the way through, was still cold so I called and the guys tells me that is just how the oven cooks their calzones!?! I was like wait your oven doesn’t cook the calzones?! He said yeah. I said well you should get that fixed he continued to say.... it is just the oven... the cheese was not even melted! We also asked for no tomato on 2 separate grinders. guess what... we got tomato on both. I also asked for crispy chicken and I got grilled. The owner tells me it’s my fault and his employees would not have messed up the order! No one order from here ever! Please! it was the worst experience ever.. $45 worth of food wasted! This USED to be my favorite place, that is until they moved. The food has gone DOWNHILL fast. I don't know if they are cutting cost, have a new cook or what the issue is. They used to give large portions and were generous with the pizza toppings. Now, the pizza toppings are little, salads minimal, and their "bread" which used to be nice garlic bread is yesterdays pizza dough, made into "bread," very disappointing. I thought it was just a short term transition issue, but I ordered several times since they moved, and it did not get any better. I hope they correct whatever issues...
