I went in at 7:48 on a Wednesday and the girl at the counter took my order for a steak bowl with veggies. She gave me the total and everything was normal until the cook from the back comes up to her and whispers something in her ear. Afterwards she then proceeds to tell me âSorry, weâre actually out of steak for the nightâ. Now mind you, this is a teriyaki place and they donât have steak? The meat you probably sell the most of and youâre just COMPLETELY out of it with a remaining 1 hour and 12 minutes of business hours? Seems a little weird to me, but hey, they insist theyâre just completely out of steak, so I relent and leave disappointedâŚ.. but something about it just didnât sit right with me, so I decided to call them 5 minutes later with a slightly different voice and placed an order for 2 steak bowls to go from the same girl I had just spoken toâŚ. and wouldnât ya know it? They miraculously had steak!!!
Now why they lied to me? I have absolutely no clue, but apparently the employees of this Waba grill just decide who they want to serve food to on some random arbitrary basis and I apparently just didnât make the cut. Iâm sure itâs costing their owner a lot of money in the process.

   Read moreFrom the moment I touched the doors I knew this place was going to be terrible. I opened the door and it scraped against the concrete and got stuck. The cashier girl rudely yelled at ME for THEIR broken doors, to use the other door (which is also broken so it didn't matter)
I walked in, only to realize that the TVs for the menus did not even work! The cashier offered no help at all with that. I had to look up the menu myself on my phone. Keep in mind that not everyone has a phone/access to the internet. Having to look up a menu myself is highly inconvenient as a customer.
The whole restaurant looks run down. Graffiti on the doors backdoors, outdoor patio/dining area is disgusting, I wouldn't even sit at any of the tables outside. Ice machine was out, the soda was room temperature.
The girl charged me for a large instead of a medium. She didn't even try to remember my name, she got the first letter right, that was it, didn't even sound like my name, so I was pretty confused when she called out my order, as it was a completely different name. Employees seem like they could care less about being there. I'm definitely never going...
   Read moreHonestly I love waba grill but this location has some workers with rude and fake attitudes. They also either give less meat than more rice or not enough rice. They can be very stingy on the good beef meat they will give you the fatty beef and small portion but a lil more chicken and rice to hide the fact they lessened your beef for the Waba plates.. Not cool to take advantage of your customers specially your regulars because eventually we will notice and get tired of it and complain and give you a bad review just saying!! The "owner/manager is never or hardly ever there. Apparently the only acting supervisor is some female with fake attitude and don't give respect to her customers. She doesn't even have rights to authorize anything as she explained she can't do anything so what is she there for to be useless and a waste of space? Whatever blah rant over I will happily take my business...
