Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Wildwood

Well this Hungry Howies's have lost a customer. Which I seriously doubt they even cares what their customers think. I ordered a large ham and cheese sub on a Friday night after work. Got home to enjoy my sub as normal cause I always order the same thing when I call it in. Took a few bites out of it and noticed that the sandwich is just gooey with chees all coming out. Which was not enjoyable to eat!! So I called to complain about my sandwich and spoke to the manager Slate. I explained to him that I couldn't enjoy my sandwich that it was too much cheese and I couldn't enjoy it. So he did say he's sorry about it and that they'll take care next time I call. So to me take care of it means that when I call next time that the sandwich will be free. I asked did he need my name and number he said no that they have it already. Well when I called back 2 days later for my credit no one knew what I was talking about. I was told that they always note down in computer about complaints and he didn't see anything in computer for me. Was told that a manager will get back in contact with me next day. Well, no manager called the next day I had to call them. When I finally spoke with the manager that I spoke on the phone the first time I called about my order. The manager name is Skate thought it was funny and was smiling about it that I was complaining about too much cheese on my sub. I told him if I wanted extra cheese I would've asked for it but I didn't. He stated he would just make sure not to much cheee on sub next time I called that what he ment but he never said that. He continue to smirk the whole time I was there and said if every customer complained about their food what are we suppose to do just give everyone free food. The managers Slate even lied to me in my face that he logged in the computer when the other manager that I spoke to three days prior stated there was nothing log in the computer about my complaint. I explained if a customer that have been doing business with them for years call to complain about his or her order and they couldn't enjoy the food you as a company should correct it for them to make the customer happy. When I tell you the managers there do not have any customer service skill it's very sad. To laugh about it and brush you off like you don't care. Well sir or ma'am with out the customers you would not be in business at all. I will share this on my Facebook Page and will not do anymore business with them....

This location was a absolute disgrace today. Was charged full price for a 2 year old.. fine whatever, the boy wanted pizza. So there's the first issue. After paying, we turn to see a almost completely empty buffet bar... empty pans and two half gone crusted over pizzas from the heat lamps. The macaroni had to be cut with a knife to come out of the warming pan. The cheese sauce was filmed over. The salad bar area was a mess... food all over the counter, dressing dripped all over. Trying to find a clean table was easy because THE WASN'T ONE! There was other gentlemen around eating, but almost every empty table was piled with dirty dishes. And the bathrooms, which the ladies room doesn't even have a working lock, was disgusting, with what looked like birds nests in the cubby above the wall cutout. By far the worst experience I have ever had. And all my grandson wanted was some pizza, and will probably end up...

Had delivery today so I can’t speak for dine in, takeout, or buffet but they said 30-45 mins and the pizza was here in 20 mins. Not only were they on time, they were early!! The delivery guy was really nice and there are no complaints about the pizza. Guy on the phone spoke very clearly, in fact I was screwing up talking on the phone 😂. (5 stars)

Update: went in for takeout. Food was great but there are a couple things to address. 1) the bathrooms are not accessible. There is no Braille on the bathroom signs and the bathrooms are wheelchair accessible but a couple Braille signs are cheap and easy to get. No excuse. Also, it says under every hungry howies sign that they serve stuffed crust pizza. I know this is not something they really have control over but you shouldn’t be advertising that you’re a “stuffed crust” pizza place if you only offer stuffed crust on large and above. (3...
