Sabor Latino WB — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

It’s not worth the trouble ordering through Uber eats or any of those third-party delivers. I placed an order for oxtails and yellow rice but noticed that they don’t have any drinks on the Uber eats menu for this restaurant and I wanted a sprite. I called the restaurant to let the lady know I just ordered and I just wanted to add a sprite since Uber eats doesn’t have any drinks listed for them. Any time I’ve called the store they barely speak English so it’s hard to communicate with them. When the lady answered I told her I ordered through Uber eats and just want to add a Sprite she didn’t know what I was talking about and she completely canceled my order and hung up on me. I’ve gone in this place one time before and because the lady at the counters attitude looked so nasty I just walked out. I will never order from this place again and will continue to go to other Spanish restaurants in the area who respect American customers who don’t speak Spanish....

Sadly, this place has become a pathetic joke. When they first opened they provided good food for a good price. Today they provide mediocre food that is overpriced. I ordered oxtails once and received bones with barely any meat on another occasion I order chicken chunks to receive these tiny bits of chicken that were overcooked and tasteless Its so sad to see a place that had great potential go downhill so quickly!! Btw I am hispanic from the Caribbean and I know what the food should look and taste like this place is not not not it. I guess since there are only a few places they feel they can get away with ripping off...

I moved to PA 3 years ago and have been looking for a good Spanish (style) restaurant ever since, but I haven't had any luck until I walked into Sabor Latino.

I went on a lunch date with a friend, who was also the person who recommended this restaurant. I had the stewed chicken over rice & beans. My friend ordered the oxtail and the steak & onions also over rice & beans. It was all perfectly done, I can't say one negative word about this place or the food.
