We were here last night with another couple. I will start out by saying the food was good, although a bit cold. I’m pretty sure it sat for a bit before being brought out to us, which leads me to the service. The service, I don’t even know where to begin. Our waiter was a young kid, maybe 21 or 22? First, it took at least 10-15 minutes for him to come take our drink order. Once he did and delivered the first round of drinks, he forgot the water. When he came back to take our food order, we asked for the water again and told him the soda in our drinks was flat. My husband and I each had an old fashioned and another one in our party had a vodka with sprite. He didn’t seem too concerned at all and didn’t offer to make new drinks. He still didn’t bring the water back. When the food finally came, we had needed another round of drinks for sometime and asked for the water again…we still did not get the water with the next round of drinks and asked another server walking by to bring us water. She did promptly. We sat another 20-25 (minimum) minutes watching him talk at the bar hoping he would come back to clear plates and get us another round of drinks. We finally after another 20-25 minutes asked another server to get our waiter and the manager. The manager came over, also quite young and we explained the horrible service we received all night. At that point we asked her if she would just take our card and let us pay our bill because we were afraid if we waited for him, we may never get out of there. It seemed like she was going to address the problem. Instead, she told him our complaints and he came over quite confrontational. The first words out of his mouth were “so, what do you think I didn’t do?” We were shocked. We couldn’t believe she sent him over and we could not believe how confrontational he was being. And the excuses! Wow! I was blown away. My husband and the other couple we were with were trying to coach him and give him advice to which he continued with attitude. I had had enough and asked him if he worked for tips. He said yes. I then explained if he wanted to earn tips he needed to learn customer service. I was blown away by the whole experience. This young man could have made a really good tip off of our table if he had just been attentive. Instead, I told my husband to leave him nothing. This may sound harsh, but you didn’t get to behave that way and be entitled to money. Good for him for showing up to work, but he definitely has a lot to learn in life. I’m not sure who owns this place, but you may want to do some coaching with your...
Read moreThis is not the normal experience. I usually have a great time here but this was quite possibly the worst restaurant trip I've ever had.
Got seated very quickly, server took 5-10 minutes to greet us. Took us another 10 minutes to get our drinks. Had to wait an hour before I had to ask to order an appetizer. Had to tell the server we were ready to order. Food took about 20 minutes. Not a bad wait for food, but it wasn't too busy. My friend is very allergic to tomatoes and asked for no tomatoes. (Upon receiving the bill, it was clear the server did put in the request).
However, it came out with tomatoes. Took about 10 minutes for the server to check in and I asked for a fresh sandwich as he couldn't touch anything on the plate. I made it very clear that he couldn't get any of the same food out. In 2 minutes he had another plate.
The sandwich and fries were warm, not hot. The bun had the same features and char marks that the previous bun had. I do believe the server believed it was a fresh sandwich. Our drinks which were supposedly doubles didn't taste to be on that caliber.
Upon receiving the bill, we requested clarification and a manager was sent over. I told the manager about how the same sandwich was used and was completely unable to be eaten by my friend. He told me the normal chef was across the street for an event and this wouldn't fly under normal circumstances. He took our bill and walked away.
Having worked in the industry for almost 9 years myself, I don't like to complain, I understand some things just happen. However there was absolutely no kind of discount or apology offered besides a dessert; which we were not in the mood for after our appetite was ruined.
I'm not sure if this is a place I am interested in...
Read moreService was very slow even though there were empty tables around us. Ordered a cheeseburger but it came out with no cheese - the waitress never came back to check on the food so by the time we grabbed someone else about it, it was cold. I asked if they could add a slice of cheese to it and reheat it. They did that immediately but the burger came back room temp still and the cheese wasn’t melted.
Meanwhile my cousin went into the boys bathroom and stepped in poop that was on the floor and got all over his gym shoe. A bus boy saw/heard and said would take care of it. At least 10 minutes later the waitress came back and asked how everything was. We told her about the bathroom incident. She said she would go get the manager. 5 minutes later, he came by and wasn’t very sympathetic and was mostly laughing the situation off. He said he had gone in and seen it and said he will get someone to clean it - even though it had been a GOOD 15 minutes since the bus boy was notified of this happening. He ended up comping $18 of our total bill for him stepping in Poop in the bathroom.
Even though their pizza is great, we will NEVER be back because of how they handled this situation. If they had handled it in a more professional/sympathetic way, we would have let it roll off our shoulders (even though this is the most DISGUSTING thing that could ever happen at a...
