This place is usually a good stopping point for us as my son is up at Chico State and it just works out, plus you can usually count on McDs consistency, but no more stopping here...and not even because of the food. First, I am so sick of McD menu where when your order one way, its one price, order another way its another price. (For example order two big Mac value meals vs. 2 for $5 big macs, 2 for $4 medium fries, and 2 $1 drink...the difference is more than $4 - a mistake I made once! ) Well, McDs have figured out a new way to screw by saving pennies. This place in particular ticked me off because of the following: -I ordered "for here" - receipt say "eat-In" and for some reason clerk stuffed our order in a bag, while others were getting tray. Funny thing, on my receipt the last item is listed as "1 tray" Why is this a big deal? well, -We like to eat on the terrace they have here and we walked out to find that the bag did not have any napkins or condiments asked for and the door to the terrace was locked from outside, so you cant get back in. Luckily someone was standing next to the door and opened. Aren't these supposed to be open during business hours? -The fry boxes were barely squeezed open (this is was the first part of being nickel-ed and dime-ed) Arggghh! See picture, none yet eaten! I figured this was intentional as store was crowded and this I figured is why they were stuffed in bag- I would have noticed if on tray. These were less than half full. -What I learned much later, when reading the receipt is that my two for $4, half full fries were actually charged at the regular price of two medium fries! So another $0.30 extra, but what bothers me about this most is that I clearly told the clerk 2 for 4 or whatever, why would their registers even allow this and it dawned on me....$0.30 x millions sold per day is a lot of money for McDs. I see a class action here!

Read moreThis is one of the worst experiences Ive ever had regarding any McDonalds or any restaurant. I was craving to treat myself with the steak and egg bagel. Steak bagel lovers know that we love the breakfast sauce. I ordered 2 with extra sauce, extra cheese and a drink. Drive through took 25 minutes to get to the speaker. Once i got the window they asked me to wait for my bagels in the stall. Now an hour has passed, people are getting their food and just not me. The person running orders says thats odd and he’ll go check. I got out and check myself.
Inside of the restaurant was chaotic and many upset customers waiting or had missing items or order wrong. The kitchen staff appeared upset, annoyed, and some appeared frantic. There was a clear lack of structure, organization, focus, there was a clear understanding of poor management. My order was found, left on the counter. They handed it to me, i left and found that even though i paid for extra breakfast sauce they did not put any sauce on my bagel. I was very upset as any steak bagel lover knows thats a very important part of the sandwich. 18 dollars wasted!
Also a few days ago they forgot my pies. No apologies, just a suggestion to come back and get the pies. Then an okay bye when i told them i wasnt driving back for pies. Why if we pay for a mobile order arent those refunded on the app? Just a suggestion to McDonald’s
Corporate if you are seeing this, the service was so bad that i will not be returning to this McDonalds. I will drive the extra half hour to yuba city who has more customers but gets their orders correct and to their customers 90% of the time. I tried to tell her that I've ordered that for years all over in differant states even and she said that she didn't even have a button option to make it like that & I've gotten it that way to kno there is that option. But maybe she was new ,maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she hadn't found were that button was yet. She told me I had to order an egg mcmuffin and they could do no egg, now im all for wutever works , BUT 2 sausage mcmuffins are 2 for $5 and the egg mcmuffin is $5 each so I paid $5 more than I should of, also n this isn't their fault but still no carmel frappe ??? It's been weeks n no carmel only mocha. I hav a final question for mcdonalds Corp. Is the carmel drizzle sauce as precious as gold or something cause i always ask for extra extra extra carmel drizzle in my frappe and cup and no body seems to do it. If I ask them to put more in it when they go to hand it to me they tell me they hav put as much as they can in it.
