On Monday we tried to visit this Subway to try their breakfast. Fifteen minutes after they were supposed to be open the doors were still locked and no explanation given.
On Tuesday we stopped by again. This time they were open. The man running did not greet us or smile once the entire time. He acted like we were interrupting his work to make a sandwich.
Then he spoke so quietly and with an accent that was hard to understand and I had to ask him to repeat himself (which he did with a tone in his voice).
Then I had never tried their breakfast so I he had to ask what bread, size I wanted, all with an exasperated tone.
He started to prepare the sandwich and I stopped him and told him never-mind because I did not want an all egg white.(Background on me: I just cannot eat the egg whites, it literally makes my stomach upset.) He then went on to say that I needed to tell him beforehand, that I am wrong to wait until he puts it on the sandwich to tell him. I explained that I had never eaten their breakfast before and that I didn't realize it. He responds by telling me that I shouldn't do that.
Ofcourse, by this time, I'm upset. I tell him again I had no idea that there was even a choice of an all white or regular egg and that he didn't even give me the option to choose and just assumed that was what I wanted. I told him that he was being rude. He ignored me and finished our order.
Now, I have no ideal of this man's history or if he was having a bad day, but for a customer to be treated in this manner is a great way to have your business go under.
Though this location would have been perfect for daily breakfasts and lunches, I won't be returning. I will drive an extra 5 miles to the next one. (And now I know there is an option, so this won't be repeated.)
All he had to do was understand that we were not familiar with the menu/options and ask-doesn't seem that hard of a thing to ask of...
Read moreBuyer Beware This particular Subway seems to have an issue with the coupons they mail out. Apparently they have to approve whether or not you can use them, even though the sandwiches that are not available for purchase with coupon are printed on the actual coupon. I went in two weeks ago and ordered an Italian BMT and a Subway club. They told me these sandwiches could be used with a coupon. Yesterday, when I stopped by and ordered the exact same sandwiches, I was told that from now on I needed to state that I was using a coupon before I even begin to place my order because the Italian BMT is no longer on the list of acceptable coupon sandwiches. So what is the deal? How is a customer supposed to know what sandwiches are approved and what sandwiches aren't? There's nothing posted at the store that explains these rules or anything, and when you ask an employee, they just blame the owner and tell you to talk to them. To me, this all seems incredibly shady. Like they just make up their prices and charge you...
Read moreOrdered 2 FL online. Steak and Italian BMT. Ordered double meat on the steak. Barely got enough meat to cover the bread. It was alao supposed to have extra cheese. Nope. It didnt. Just the steak sub was over $17 with the extras, to not get anything extra. The guy making them was asked not to cut the steak sub. Ieven put that in the comments when i placed the order. He tried to anyway without regards. Twrrible customer service. The bread tasted stale. The BMT wasn't made correctly. Several items missing from it. It was all cold, supposed to be toasted. Absolutely the worst subway experience! If you value your money go...
