Not very friendly to non-regulars. Took my kids & gave them money for food and drinks and the skating rental for skates. The young girl taking money tried to say my son tried to sneak in without paying and said my daughter was picking on a another girl. When actually what she was doing was admiring the girls skating. She said she could skate good and somehow somewhere it was later interpreted to that my daughter called her a bad word and was said laughing at her.....and they supposedly let all this happen as my kids were ordering and then eating pizza before they got their skates to skate. ... And instead of saying something to my kids then if this were true ...they waited till they were ready to get skates and told them to leave without an explanation of any. So my kids called me, saying I needed to come get them that they where told to leave. I get there and go calmly try and figure out the story as to what was goin on and they lady told me my son tried to sneak in and my daughter was making fun of other customers and I said that's not true because I gave my son money to come skate and you took his money correct. And she said yes and then I asked my daughter about the incident and allegations of making fun of others and she said mom no, that's not true either. She said I promise I was only saying that the girl could skate good. And I liked the way she was skating. And so then I asked where my kids money was that I wanted a refund since this was obviously all made up and lies. I took it that they were not regular customers so they picked on them and made them leave for no reason but lies and I got their money back and we...
Read moreWe went soon after opening on a Sunday so parking was great at that time. The staff seemed friendly and welcoming. Price for admission and skate rental isn't terrible compared to prices on most everything nowadays. I didn't skate but brought 4 teens who did. It wasn't crowded at that time and they had a lot of fun! One said there was a couple of spots on the floor that made them feel a little unsteady but not bad enough to make them not want to skate. They also enjoyed the photo booth and they played a couple games as well. We didn't eat anything but they did get slush puppies. Who doesnt love a good slushy! It would be nice to add a menu sign with prices tho. As far as the atmosphere of the place, it was nice. It was clean and comfortable but hot....a little too hot. Overall, it may be small compared to other places, but for our county, it's great. We absolutely need more things to do around here and this place has added another option for our kids rather than being out somewhere getting into trouble. I recommend checking this place out if you're looking for something to do with the kids. I can see a lot of great memories...
Read moreLooked up fun things to do with kids in the area and this popped up. Decided to go check it out. Not a real impressive building from the outside, but decided to continue to inspect the inside. A very friendly employee at the front door/cashier, answered all our many questions. Open from 5-10pm which is the skating session. Skates & scooters cost extra after paying the admission price. It was busy when we first arrived, but as the time progressed, people slowly began leaving, & by about 8pm the crowd had thinned out a lot. Admission is reasonable, but concessions aren't cheap. Just like going to the movies. There isn't any air-conditioning, just large fans & open doors. It wasn't real humid/hot, so the air circulation was fine. They even have a game corner with an air hockey table. Music played is not too loud & it's not hard rock. Lots of popular songs, that even the grandparents would recognize.**a grandma on vacation with daughter-in-law & grandkids...
