Dunkin' — Restaurant in Willington

Last night we parked here, found some free parking, and went in to grab some food. We decided on Burger King and the lady was super nice and our food came out pretty quick. I decided to ask if the Dunkin Donuts was open 24 hours and the two guys said yes. In the morning while I was sleeping my boyfriend went in to grab me breakfast and coffee from the Dunkin and as he was rounding the corner he heard the people behind the counter, one girl and one guy as well as one customer with a hot coffee in hand, giggling and say "Just tell them we're out of something so we don't have to do anything" My boyfriend walked up and proceeded to order my coffee, the seasonal Macchiato for Halloween, and she told him in a nasty attitude "Well. We're out of milk." and they all started laughing. My poor boyfriend walked back to the truck feeling annoyed and defeated after trying to do something sweet. I'm prediabetic and my husband is diabetic so we have to be careful when we order out at restaurants. This morning my husband and I wanted coffee before heading out in our semi. I was able to order a large iced latte with unsweetened vanilla and oat milk and extra espresso. My husband ordered a large iced coffee with unsweetened coconut and oat milk with extra espresso. When I explained our situation to the two who were working, they immediately suggested the unsweetened vanilla and coconut shots and even took the time to show us the brand of oat milk they use to make sure it was safe for me and my hsuband. Dunkin Donuts as a brand has slipped over the years in both quality, freshness and affordability. However, this is blanket statement that applies to all. Let me explain how this franchise still manages to stand out:

Located in the TA Service Plaza off of route 84, this Dunkin Donuts is always busy. Drivers of all types stopping in for fuel, food and snacks make this a popular destination.

The staff is always busy. But to their credit, they greet you with a smile and a friendly hello. Not a time consuming gesture on their part, but very welcome when you're on the road for hours and this is just a quick stop.
