Dining at our local Japanese steakhouse is not just about enjoying a meal; it's an experience in itself. This establishment uniquely combines culinary expertise with entertainment, offering patrons a memorable evening out.

As you arrive, the ambiance immediately envelops you with its traditional and inviting décor. The restaurant is thoughtfully divided into two distinct areas: the lively hibachi section and a more traditional seating area. Each offers a unique dining experience tailored to different preferences.

The hibachi section is where the magic truly happens. Here, skilled chefs engage diners with their impressive cooking techniques, showcasing a culinary performance that is as entertaining as it is delicious. The chefs are not only masters of their craft but also charismatic entertainers. Their humor and engaging interactions add a joyful atmosphere to the dining experience, ensuring that smiles and laughter accompany every meal.

For those who prefer a quieter dining experience, the other side of the restaurant provides a seating area where you can enjoy the same delicious food in a more relaxed environment.

The bar area, complete with comfortable stools, offers a diverse selection of drinks that cater to every taste. It's an excellent spot to unwind before or after your meal.

One of the unique and charming features of this steakhouse is the koi pond, adding a touch of tranquility to the lively atmosphere. Patrons can partake in the whimsical tradition of tossing coins onto the water fountain, making wishes or simply enjoying the gentle ripples that dance across the water's surface.

Overall, dining at this Japanese steakhouse is more than just a meal. It's about engaging all your senses, being entertained by delightful hosts, and enjoying excellent food in a warm, welcoming environment. Whether you're there to celebrate a special occasion or simply to enjoy an evening out, this steakhouse offers a delightful mix of fun, flavor, and cultural flair. It's a place worth visiting...

DO NOT BUY THE SUSHI!!! The fried rice, noodles, steak, and shrimp were great! However anything else seafood or fish related like the sushi and tako yaki were pretty disappointing. My family and I visited the restaurant for the first time and were excited for a new experience as we love sushi and hibachi. Everything on the menu looked amazing and the staff gave great service. The problem was with the sushi, we ordered 4 rolls each with a cost of about $18-$20 each based on the menu descriptions and were so excited for them. However when the sushi finally arrived they looked amazing with so much to look at but when we took a bite we noticed we could not taste any of the seafood we had ordered. My family and I took apart some of our sushi rolls to find that our $19 eel roll barely had any eel and if you looked at the roll from the side you couldn’t even see the fish. It wasn’t until we took the rolls apart did we find the eel only to find the smallest amount of fish which was mostly skin and completely dwarfed by the cucumber, avocado, and cream cheese. I know you normally don’t get much fish with sushi, but for $20 I would expect more than just rice and veggies with a piece of fish that was just 2mm thick and 4mm long. Compared to most restaurants offering sushi on their menu this one was the worst especially considering the price you have to pay for as little quality you get. All in all stick to the hibachi but just avoid the sushi as it really didn’t feel anywhere near worth the premium price...

UPDATE - Been back a few times since the original review. Almost every time something goes wrong. Not terribly wrong but always something. Once, they forgot the rice in the bento boxes we ordered. Like, why would you send out a bento box with no rice in it??? Then once they forgot our salads. Another time they gave us regular beef instead of the New York Strip that we ordered. Another time they gave us another tables check instead of ours. Another time we ordered Hibachi entree and the veggies were not cooked on a Hibachi. Nothing HUGE but still, seems almost every time some small error happens.

Their chicken is pretty bad, to be honest. Shrimp is good. scallops are good. Steak is good (if you get the NY Steak and just regular beef). The Chicken Katsu is good, but if you order regular pan seared chicken, it is pretty bad.

Should be 10 stars. This place is FANTASTIC. Every single drop of food was cooked perfectly. Tasted AMAZING. Great portion size. Not too pricey. Very fun Hibachi. Literally every single piece of food was insanely good. I absolutely love this place and I want to go back tomorrow. Scallops and steak. Chicken and shrimp. Fried rice and noodles. Hot soup and Yum Yum sauce. Remarkable! So much better than most places in Williston that deserve...

I decided on three stars for Sakura because even though the food a bit pricey for the small portions ( my meal was the hibachi vegetable) the dining was pleasant and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Service was pretty decent. Even though the parking lot was full, there was not really any wait and plenty of seating.I feel for the price, the amount of food for both my guest and I could have been a little more plentiful, other wise I would have given 5 stars

I have been looking for foods that take me home and I finally found some quality nostalgia. Granted, it’s ND. But I finally found great Pho. It is so rare get cuisine that has been made with effort to be more authentic. I got the Pho, and avocado salad which I enjoyed at home because the pho was plenty big for a great price. A couple years ago, I had their ramen. That was amazing too.

I love Japanese Hibachi, but it's not really something I do by myself. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found out I could order a Hibachi meal at my table. It was perfectly prepared, just like when they cook it right in front of you ... although the shrimp is on your plate, rather than having it thrown at you to catch in your mouth! The sushi was very fresh and delicious too.
