Read moreDO NOT BUY THE SUSHI!!! The fried rice, noodles, steak, and shrimp were great! However anything else seafood or fish related like the sushi and tako yaki were pretty disappointing. My family and I visited the restaurant for the first time and were excited for a new experience as we love sushi and hibachi. Everything on the menu looked amazing and the staff gave great service. The problem was with the sushi, we ordered 4 rolls each with a cost of about $18-$20 each based on the menu descriptions and were so excited for them. However when the sushi finally arrived they looked amazing with so much to look at but when we took a bite we noticed we could not taste any of the seafood we had ordered. My family and I took apart some of our sushi rolls to find that our $19 eel roll barely had any eel and if you looked at the roll from the side you couldnât even see the fish. It wasnât until we took the rolls apart did we find the eel only to find the smallest amount of fish which was mostly skin and completely dwarfed by the cucumber, avocado, and cream cheese. I know you normally donât get much fish with sushi, but for $20 I would expect more than just rice and veggies with a piece of fish that was just 2mm thick and 4mm long. Compared to most restaurants offering sushi on their menu this one was the worst especially considering the price you have to pay for as little quality you get. All in all stick to the hibachi but just avoid the sushi as it really didnât feel anywhere near worth the premium price...
Read moreUPDATE - Been back a few times since the original review. Almost every time something goes wrong. Not terribly wrong but always something. Once, they forgot the rice in the bento boxes we ordered. Like, why would you send out a bento box with no rice in it??? Then once they forgot our salads. Another time they gave us regular beef instead of the New York Strip that we ordered. Another time they gave us another tables check instead of ours. Another time we ordered Hibachi entree and the veggies were not cooked on a Hibachi. Nothing HUGE but still, seems almost every time some small error happens.
Their chicken is pretty bad, to be honest. Shrimp is good. scallops are good. Steak is good (if you get the NY Steak and just regular beef). The Chicken Katsu is good, but if you order regular pan seared chicken, it is pretty bad.
Should be 10 stars. This place is FANTASTIC. Every single drop of food was cooked perfectly. Tasted AMAZING. Great portion size. Not too pricey. Very fun Hibachi. Literally every single piece of food was insanely good. I absolutely love this place and I want to go back tomorrow. Scallops and steak. Chicken and shrimp. Fried rice and noodles. Hot soup and Yum Yum sauce. Remarkable! So much better than most places in Williston that deserve...
