This is a Somali restaurant that focuses on serving the local Somali population... and some of us who are able to get past the challenges of doing business with them.
They offer a number of Somali dishes from a picture menu with names, prices (low), and pictures. We walked in and saw a bunch of Somali watching soccer... recordings of international games on YouTube.
It was clearly a local hangout. We walked over to the guy at the cash register and asked questions. He didn't seem to speak English and had very little to say that helped us understand what was in the various dishes. It was frustrating, as we were hoping to more meaningfully engage.
